Edit: Holy moly the negative review spamming. Honestly, if you're the kind of player that thinks that Time Eater and The Heart were horrificly designed bosses that made the game worse, you really should've considered just not buying Slay 2. Like, what did you think was gonna happen?
I feel like theres this expecation with sequels that they will abandon what made them cool in the first place to chase a more mainstream audience. Im glad that hasn't happened with Spire. But if you're dissapointed, consider supporting the hundreds of other deckbuilders that might do what you want instead.
