Early Access Review
Its kinda a slop game. No story and isn't too complex. (okay movement tho) But its got a good game loop and does what it says it does.
Most games I've seen recently are slop games and as far as that goes this is a good one

Just played this again after a few years. I think this still holds up. The world can feel little empty, but the movement is so good, I can't think of another VR game quite like it.

Also the aesthetic gives me Beast Wars vibes in a good way

The game plays great. There's clear indications of what the game expects you to do, with some subtle short cuts for you to find. Even when pushing the game to its limits the game mechanics never get clunky. It feels great to be able to go for a record time without the game getting in the way. Also worth noting the soundtrack is fantastic.

The weak point is probably the story. Some people really don't like it. Personally I thought it was fun enough despite its flaws. Regardless the good news is the story is fairly detached from the gameplay, so you can skip it if you want.

Easily the most fun in VR I've had in the last year or two

The gameplay so far has been addicting. Its a interesting mix of catching and throwing objects, single player teamwork, and a little factory line optimization. Often challenges are straightforward, you know what you have to do you just have to find the best way to do it, and have the skills to carry out your plan. It rewards both strategy and coordination, while also allowing you to have fun and progress at your own pace. Also the throwing physics are spot on.

With unique gameplay, a cozy environment, and voice acting that is both fun and immersive. I can easily recommend The Last Clockwinder.

The first the Spyro games had a very unique take on 3D platforming, with levels that take advantage of it. Converting the elevation of the player to the distance they can travel. With levels that made of layers twisting in on themselves. You'll find yourself at places you've already been but from a higher vantage point opening new paths to travel. This compact level design makes Spyro stand out to me.
Furthermore with this trilogy you can see how that design evolved overtime. Going from tight obstacle courses with some secrets in the first game, to open areas with mini games in the third game.
Despite these games being decades old, I'd say they held up well. The gameplay is still smooth and the content is plentiful and varied. Plus the art direction breaths life into the game. The original trilogy did a lot with minimalist low poly art, but the new high detailed graphics provides quality animations and designs.

I'd say if you're a fan of 3D Platformers and interesting level design the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is worth looking into. And if your a returning fan the Reignited Trilogy is a spectacular remastering of the original three games

I've heard people say Elden Ring brings a unique experience. And its true the fidelity of this game is amazing and there are lot of design choices most dev's would never have thought of. I find almost none of those choices fun.

I've missed out on potential content form. I've found cliffs with invisible walls to stop the player form knocking enemies off clicks. There's countless enemy placements that cannot be seen ahead of time.

Yeah most games don't do what Elden Ring does, but I'm still waiting for Elden Ring to show how that's a good thing.

Sometimes it's high APM with unique gameplay. Other times its the best auto clicker you've ever played running at a solid 0.01 FPS
