After playing this game for nearly 11 years and putting in 4000+ hours, I can say that this game changed my life. It had it's highs and lows, but I always came back and had an amazing time. I met some incredible people in this game, some of whom I cherish as life long friends. All this being said, I cannot recommend this game going forward.

The light and dark saga was amazing, but since the Edge of Fate kicked off the "Fate" saga, things have gone down very quickly. Destiny has lost it's soul, it's spark, and I just can't look past many of the changes Bungie has made to the game. It is for these reasons and many more that I have stopped playing, and why I cannot recommend this game going forward.

To Bungie; It's been real.

This was the expansion that finally made me walk away from Destiny after 11 years and 4000+ hours. The story was bland, the campaign mechanics seemed forced, the portal is awful, the power grind has never been worse, overall this expansion was the single worst experience I have ever had in Destiny. Bungie basically soft-sunsetted the entire game up to the point of The Edge of Fate, which made me feel like all of my hard work over the years was for nothing. I cannot and will not start over, and so my time has come to an end. I will remember the light and dark saga, and although it had it's low points, it will always be the Destiny that I knew and loved. That game, that experience, no longer exists.

They should have just made a Destiny 3...

Very underwhelming, bland, feels like a whole DLC just for a subclass. I am very disappointed with Lightfall
