i understand that the lack of duo matchmaking and performance issues ARE bad, but they will probably be fixed soon, so ignore the negative reviews and go play it already, its good!

Its the original, in vr, longer campaign, cooler story, the news bots are still here, great combat, AND its a rougelite? Go play it now!

Blade and sorcery is one of the best vr games ever, here's why.

1: The advanced swordfighting and weapon variety, there are many weapons in b&s, my favourite being the tribal shield and winged spear, you can get many weapons for your fights, and have 4 slots (2 shoulder and 2 hip) to store weapons, using slowmotion makes combat feel like you are a badass tearing your way through all these random bandits, and the automatic hyper slomo when a projectile is near skill makes you feel like neo from the matrix (you know the scene) getting a parry on an opponents sword using your own is a uniquely cool feeling, however i will admit a lot of the difficulty comes from an enemy spawning from an nondescript door and sneaking up behind you whilst you are already fighting like 2 enemy's.

2: The spells and skills, while it is tedious to unlock every skill and crystal tier it is very worth it, as many interesting ablities such as HL2 gravity gun, or lighting slash (particularly fun with the spell sword) even force choke, if you are feeling particularly mentally insane you can grab someone and set them on fire.

3: The bossfight, the hektalis (hector) bossfight feels right out of a zelda game, but in vr, its executed in a very unique way as most vr games dont have bossfights, try not to spoil yourself on the fight if possible, however climbing on hector can get glitchy sometimes.

4: The graphics, this doesent really apply to nomad but on pcvr the game looks beautiful in many spots, such as when you visit the massive storm tower, or just before the bossfight, the crystal infusion sequence looks great too.

Anyway i reccomend you buy this game!


I only have one big complaint with the game, mild spoilers ahead so only scroll if you have gotten the "spell sword" yet.




































The puzzle to getting the sword of naa, or blade of sorcery as i like to call it, is really convoluted, and im still not sure how you are meant to find the answer in game yet, and that really hurts as the whole sequence before you pick it up is super cinematic and cool, plus not everyone got all the sorcery's, and having to do a bunch of annoying climbing for it sucks too, i feel like the best gameplay choice would be to just let the player have the sword, rather than be electocuted and ascended of something, by merley coming here you have earned the sword, by defeating the 6 hectors, so idk why thats the gameplay choice they made but oh well.

Recoil thruster + all the highest fire rate weapons is ridiculous. (oh also this game goes stupid hard)
