It's kind of so bad, that it's good. Hilariously so.

The world, music and characters are all amazing. Some parts of the story feel confusing until explained later but, I'd say the biggest thing that continuously draws me into the game is just how amazing the combat style is. It is the most unique take on turn based I've ever experienced while simultaneously being THE BEST turn based combat. There is also just so many ways to customize how you want to use characters kits, I cannot recommend this game enough.

Combat feels amazing, games been running smooth on pretty damn low specs, and my void for Monster Hunter has been filled.

After about 100 hours, I have 100% completed the game in terms of achievements and most of if not all of the npc quests I could find. I can without a doubt say, this was the best single player experience I have ever had. It's very hard to beat nostalgia driven favorites or things of that nature, especially in a souls/souls-like game. But Elden Ring topped any and all expectations. FromSoft has done a splendid job, and sure people are complaining about UX stuff, or the unintuitive side quests. But thats just FromSoft, thats just Dark Souls. I played through the entire game multiple times on mouse and keyboard and had a wonderful experience. I actually cant recommend this game enough. The art style is amazing with a ton of gorgeous views throughout the game as well as gorgeous weapons, armor and affects. The music is fantastic, theres even hostile npcs that sing or play music occasionally that are also beautiful. The story is the best of any game I've played in a while and the endings are great. If you love Dark Souls, if you love games with difficulty, and if you wanna go around a game role playing as Guts from Berserk with a big ole sword this game is 100%(hehe) the game for you. I cannot wait to see if there is any future expansions planned or even any additions to Elden Rings as a new series.
