The light of Liberty shines through once more, God bless our troops.

... I still have PTSD from Malevelon Creek though.

Honestly, this is 30$ for what everyone dubbed as a "tech demo" and some of my friends called as "Arma: Refunder", and for good reason.

The game itself is ARMA, and that's great, gameplay loop of conflict looks neat, but lacks content to back it up. I am willing to forgive this if I get a M1 Abrams and T72 with their interiors, but that's just wishful thinking tbh.

Gunplay feels good, but in networked play if I'm not using a AK74 in full auto while suffering high latency I ain't winning because hitreg tends to be wonky with no real response, though a more functional health/limb damage system is expected to come sometime later.

The game is optimized, so it runs pretty well even on some mid hardware on low settings, though experience may wary because someone has to render those 4k US camo textures.

I say the game is optimized, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is UNSTABLE, a wholly separate thing, pretty much what they spell to you on the label with EARLY ACCESS as they say this is the road to ARMA4. Servers will suffer a diarrhea, crash, die, and restart on an almost hourly basis, setting all game progress from step 1. Your game will crash, your friends will crash, physics will crash, it doesn't matter it'll crash, so if you buy into this be ready for that.

It was also mentioned that as this is a test bed for ARMA4 which is used to lead up to that, they were going to support this for at least a year before moving on, which they went back on and said "We'll continue this past 1.0" or whatever, which I'd say to be cautious of.

All said, I really hope to see more of this game, the setting and gameplay is really good overall, its just the stability and content that's sorely lacking, if this game does maintain support past its supposed 1.0, it may as well be considered ARMA4 imo, but again, wishful thinking.

Free, stylish, short and fun enough to require some brain juice to solve.

But you're probably here for the same reason I am, aren't you?

Post-update action report: Ow my hand.

I gotta admit, its been a while since I last felt genuine dread and terror of the dark unknown. Now I aint one to take horror games all that seriously since in most of them you either expect the same and plain Slenderman knockoff number 473 or you've already experienced enough to know what's coming, here it felt nothing the more trivial "jumpscare galore" games have done and it does a lot on its own through atmosphere, sound, and various confrontations that generally have you question your own sanity.

To sum up this game in a few words would simply boil down to "if Silent Hill was an FPS", now I most certainly ain't the first nor last to put it that way but with the amount of inspiration drawn from the Silent Hill series it definitely serves well. While I most certainly would want to spoil my review into every nook and cranny about what I experienced and what the systems were, I'm instead going be an arse and say buy this game and play it for yourself; its a thorough nightmare ride better experienced blind than with people having to spill it for you, you'll be trapped in the confines of the darkness below for about 2 to 4 hours. While pretty short it doesn't overstay its welcome, though one could always ask for more it regardless delivers the claustrophobic terror to quite a degree.

Now with some rather minor but not so annoying technical issues the game has, by the end it left me with my hands shivering under my shuddering breath all the while always looking over my shoulder anxiously waiting for something to pop at me with a pistol by my side, and hopefully such an experience can be brought to the rest.

This is currently a very underrated project by Kira and the amount of passion put into this is astounding, and most certainly deserves the love. I have to give a personal thanks to them for letting me experience that dread I never thought I would again in a game (perhaps that's because I've been out of the horror loop for a while, but regardless).

Also I was here before Pyro made the game cool shutup

Gotta go mothertrucking fast!

A lot of people describe this as a simple concept with an astoundingly solid gameplay. It's fast, its chaotic, and its absolute madness.

Your sole objective is to jump from one truck onto another and avoid falling onto the ground or hitting a wall in a painful way all to reach the goal in the fastest way possible. Now that may sound easy the first few levels in, but later on it gets even more hectic.

The game features a leaderboard system which allows you to compete with other players and friends to see who is the better speedrunner (or glitcher/map breaker), just don't try to become the #1 in a level though, the leaderboards are filled with people who hacked the game to beat the level in 0 seconds just to have their shameful names written over it.

Oh, and the sountrack? The soundtrack is kickass! Suits every world level very well and its catchy enough that you might end up banging your head back forth to the beat. I would from the bottom of my heart recommend buying the soundtrack DLC, its that good, really!

Now the cons of the game... well, the speedrunning is fine and all, but its just that because of the chaotic physics that come in with the game make it so much more luck based, sure if you got the right skills and power-ups you could avoid those, but there is just so many times the physics went haywire and launched me at random directions only that god knows how it happened. Not this is not that big of an issue, the game is purely physics based when it comes to trucks, and really adds a surprise factor all over, and may even generate some intense and pretty sick moments where you jump onto a flying truck and to another, trying to desperately reach the goal without falling to your death.

But overall, the game is really fun to play and would totally recommend buying it when its on sale. And even the soundtrack, just do it!

And remember, stay fast, stay safe, and don't try this at home.

Tough as nails this one, with nerves of steel it'll be a breeze; but don't underestimate the swarm, for they are many, and you are one slash away from returning to your maker in a dozen leftover giblets.

The atmosphere is very Aliens and the overall gameplay is gonna test your wits and guts, the claustrophobic hallways will house plenty of terrors from deep space to challenge you, your guns leave a hell of a kick too.

Good luck marine.

A short, simple, yet very addicting game for every speed demon there is. This game will truly put your reflexes to a test, how well you manage in a split second situation between life and death when the game pumps the speed to a level a human most likely won't manage to handle in reality. While the graphics of the game are not as impressive as they seem, they do give you a take of breath many times, admiring the simplistic beauty as you graze through obstacles, doing whatever you can to hold onto the light of the sun to not run out of power, it's beautiful.

That aside, the game is intense, fun, and somewhat competitive, have fun beating your friends high score as you play this game to see who's the better leaderboard master, it'll be worth a laugh or two.
