(Disclaimer: I know one of the people who worked on this game and got a review key from them.)

Siluman Fantasy wants to be the Dark Souls of eroRPGs, but it ends up just being the Lords of the Fallen. It's an original English language RPGMaker ero-RPG, quite heavily inspired by both Dark Souls and Monster Girl Quest.

The mechanics are both the best and worst part of Siluman Fantasy - it manages to distinguish itself from the typical eroRPG by having somewhat interesting combat, especially on the higher difficulties. It's still somewhat limited by the eroRPG standard of only getting to use one character, but equipping the right weapons (which can be changed during battle) and using consumable items is required to win on the higher difficulties. Unfortunately, the mechanics are also the worst part, because it was a very buggy game that was being constantly patched all the way up to launch, and taking a single wrong step into water or a chasm will instantly kill you, costing you your hard-earned money and sending you back to the last "lustfire" you saved at.

The story is also unusually bad for an ero game. Most of the writing - as in, almost everything except the ero scenes - is reminiscent of an edgy early-2000s rom hack, with half of the dialogue boxes letting you shout the F word in response for no reason. Aside from that, the plot is also fairly vague and delivered in drips and drabs, much as you'd expect from something trying to channel Dark Souls.

For most people who will be interested in this, the sex scenes with the various monsters will be the draw. Almost all of them are femdom, in line with Monster Girl Quest, which was clearly one of the inspirations for Siluman Fantasy, and they're all at least passably written and decently drawn, without the random swearing and nonsense of the rest of the plot. They're fairly uncommon, though, since almost all of them are only shown when you lose to a boss, and there's only eight or so bosses in the entire game. (There's at least one sidequest with, as far as I know, the only non-femdom scene in the game as a reward.)

I don't think the gameplay is good enough to carry the game, and the plot definitely isn't. The eroscenes are likely the most enjoyable part, but be warned that even on the easiest difficulty, you still have to put some effort into completing the game. At least you can watch all the ero scenes from an in-game gallery, though? In any case, I weakly recommend Siluman Fantasy to monster girl femdom fans.
