A great little game with cool combat and good humor. My favourite combo is the ice trap and kick. It's just so satisfying watching the enemies slip and fall.

Now excuse me. I have to play the game in french and get a kill with a baguette for an achievement.

Moon's haunted...

I love the 80s/90s retrofuturism aesthetics. Visuals and sound design are some of the best i've seen. Just standing in the facility alone and listening gives me goosebumps. The story is told through emails and audio-logs and is quite confusing, but interesting non the less.

My personal highlight was the "C.A.T."-Tool which is used for nearly all interaction. The way you have to fiddle with the buttons on the little device is great for building tension and immersion.

On the other hand, I think the game is a bit short which leads to certain mechanics feeling not used enough. I would've liked to use the "C.A.T." more for debugging, etc.

Overall, a great horror game that I can only recommend.

In a world full of superheroes, supervillains, mechas, monsters and much more, ‘Dispatch’ simulates the most unrealistic fantasy of all: a steady job (and relationship).

A really cool little Roadtrip type game.
As Driver you face a variety of different anomalies which will hurt you and your car. Gathering resources for upgrades is well balanced and motivtes to search the sections on your way.
Upgrades include parts for your car (more inventory, better engine, etc.) and workshop upgrades (craft better parts, more storage, repair station, etc.).
The story is simple but (for me) engaging. Only the end/later sections feel a bit rushed as the story progresses quit fast compared to the beginning. Afterwards you are free to go on new trips to gather rescources, find recordings or do challenge runs with special modifiers.
Car handling and management feel really good (I really like the radio:D) and are easy to use (also withcontroller)

Overall a game I should have played much earlier.
Can recommend if you like Mad Max or Top Gear/Grand Tour ;D

While I'm not the biggest fan of the dodge mechanic as the only reliable source of defense (might also be my fault, i'm not good at it), this shortcoming is nothing that in any way detracts from the beautiful world, interesting characters, great music and wonderful story.

One of the best stories in a video game I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Brought me to tears several times, sometimes because of the story but also because of the atmosphere alone.

A great remake with all the necessary changes in the right places. Good for newcomers and people who have played the original. Perfect to get back into/start the Half-Life series .

Hi!
Shootony Headthano here, Internets bussiest Roulette-nerd.

Today we are taking a look at this new Mike Klubnika project: "Buckshot Roulette".

Developer Mike Klubnika and Publisher Critical Reflex bring us this interesting fusion of russian roulette and a dark horror artstyle. What at first might seem as a simple: "push some buttons and RNG simulator" is actually much more than what meets the eye. At first it seems like something you could expect from a Devolver Digital or TinyBuilds but no.
What we got here can be more accuratly described as psychological warfare. Over the run of three rounds you get to fight the ai different patterns of ammunition.
Like most other types of these games let blanks keep you alive while live rounds remove your upper jaw region and everything above it. Memorable is the move to get another turn when surviving a blank round. Giving depth to a luck based game.
Adding to this are the number of items each participant keeps getting to influence the match. I can see how this is more of a preference, tho the variety of items is rerally fun.
From simple: other must skip their turn, to: i get to know a random rounds position in the chamber. These literal game changer are what kept me playing. The feeling to really outplay your opponent is something you don't often get in these kind of games and I respect that.
On the art- and sound-side of things we got a dark, washedout colors and high contrast artstyle in a lowpoly look. It adds to the atmosphere of the game and emphasises the for the gameplay relevant informations like the items. Tho i really like the dark, brownish coloscheme i think the rounds itself could have been visually improved a little bit. Sometimes, very rarely but still, i wasn't quiet sure if it was a dark red or dirty blue tone i saw in the chamber whiche are critical information in this type of game.
Heading over to the music we got one heavy beat over here. Damn this goes hard. A perfect fit for the tension of game of russian roulette. Even after long sessions i won't get tired of this simple bassline hammering through my headphones, keeping me awake. Truly something to behold.

All in all I was pleasantly surprised. The gameplay is addictive, the looks grim and the beat heavy. I am excited to see the future of this game. With a planned multiplayer I am positiv that this isn't the last we've heard of Mike.

I feel a decent to strong 8 on this project. Tran-
