Early Access Review
Sunkenland is Stranded Deep if Stranded Deep got angry and started throwing enemies at me just to see if I scream. I played a few hours and somehow built a base that looks like a tax fraud investigation. Every time I try to relax someone shows up trying to turn me into fish food. I’m crafting, swimming, panicking and forgetting how buttons work. It’s janky in the best way and I already know I’m losing hundreds of hours to this thing. Send help. Or don’t. I live here now.

it's like DayZ and Rust had a kid. Pretty chill game, still searching for a well after 3 hours. I'm dying of thirst as I write this.

Edit: Had to add in a few pointers. Game seems more solid from my first anticipation after a couple more hours. It reminds me of what I kind of wished DayZ would be more like. It don't beat it in ambiance but in terms of base building and overall experience it's far better. Only negative thing as of now is the blueprint ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. ffs give us a skill tree.

Bellwright might still be in early access and a bit clunky around the edges, but it absolutely hooked me. The progression feels rewarding, the systems are easy to get into once you find the rhythm, and the mechanics start clicking faster than you’d expect.
Despite the rough spots, the core gameplay loop is genuinely fun, so much so that on my very first session I ended up playing for over 15 hours straight without even noticing the time go by. That alone says a lot.
If you enjoy settlement building, exploration, and a sense of steady growth, Bellwright is already worth diving into. And with more updates on the way, it’s only going to get better.

I get the same feeling I did when I was a kid playing this in 2009. The price is a little steep but they did a good job on the remastering of the entire game.
