Gentle dragons

floating through the water

disturbed for but a moment


the rain surrenders to serenity


Spots and solids and stripes

a school of living paintbrushes


magical


I love my little dragon paintbrushes

but my hubris is my undoing

newborn flakes are too tiny to see

I must find them by their shadows instead
