I have changed my old user name from queen_of_leander to something less teenager. There are two user names I have used since a teen, and for some reason stuck, but it doesn't really reflect the person I am now or my current interests.King or Queen might indicate arrogance, mine came from a book reference.I wanted something more gothic and Poe is my favorite writer; my favorite poem quite long.

Time I updated my info. What to say? It's always so hard, yet maybe easy filling out something about yourself. Well, I'm of the nintendo generation, a line I classically remembered from "Hackers" lol, it's true I was born in 1983, just before the crash in 86, so I don't remember too many games until really 89 or early 90's, but I grew up on many of the action and RPG's of the day, some of the more memorable being Final Fantasy 3, Traysia, Warsong, and later on enjoying good but unrated stories and puzzle ones like Alundra.

So, I have a large experience I suppose any type of game you can imagine. I started out on platformers, but was so thankful to get stories back in the good ol' 90's lol. On PC I tend to prefer adventure and puzzle games (if you've never tried parasite eve 2 or Galerians tell me those weren't some of the creepier games for the ps1), but have played my share of shooters. When I was younger I was into horror movies and games alot, while I set down for a thrill every now and then, I don't need the adrenaline as much as I used to, so instead I tend to opt for good stories and atmosphere. Of course I like stories, that's what I majored in, with a close 2nd in classical studies. Sometimes, I do wish for money sake maybe I had chosen a FA degree, because being a translator is helpful and can net you some bank. I do like learning about other cultures, but I still respect my own roots. Though, I wouldn't say I come from any place special, and I lived a relatively average life. That might explain my interest in the 'other' haha, don't know.

If you see we have similar tastes, or even if you don't, but you think we might have a working dialogue...come by and say hi. I've been on steam a long time, but very few ever message or want to add me. Sad, that even though I often try to be helpful and friendly and even online I'm a bit of a lone reed. I'm kinda invisible in my everyday settings too, so I guess it doesn't surprise me. However, I would like to think I'm well-read, though my weakest subject was always math, even though I was half-way good in science. I also have an ear for language and a certain amount of mimicry, my brother has something similar but he uses it for comedic purposes. If only he would have been an actor lol, and his memory is insanely good; mines sorta so-so.
