as a huge (and i mean HUGE) fan of his works,
this whole woody allen (risen again) issue has been a dreadful inner conflict for me. For the past couple of days, i was wandering on the borderline of feeling guilty for admiring an outcome of a possible sexual perpetrater and on the other hand, thinking art should be respected only as itself.
it was, once again, as my life these days seems to be in every aspect, 50:50.
as i said from the beginning, allen's work has made quite some impact on my life as a story-teller. his words awed, touched, penetrated through me via his films such as annie hall, manhattan and of course, recently, blue jasmine. they made me think hard on the facts that i easily let go of thinking they're 'supposed to be how they are'. through his films, he challenged me by showing how there are no such thing as practical rule in story-telling. and he did all of these with the one thing that made him who he is, Wit.
oh how i wish i had his wit.
anyways, so just imagine how devastated i would have been when i read Dylan Farrow's letter.
one of the many questions that i've been meditating on is
"Can art be separated from the artist?"
as for myself, everything i write, express, create is based on my life. there might be hyperboles but i can assure you, no lies.
that's what troubles me.
CAN We? separate art from life?
this still remains unanswered to me.

i came to a conclusion just the fact that even i , an openly woody allen 빠순이(which means a hardcore follower in korean), am confused and troubled with what is happening means that there IS something terribly wrong with this whole incident. if he turns out to be falsely accused then Thank God, but what bothers me is that why would Dylan carry this hateful burden for all these years? as a woman myself, my heart aches for her at this point.
so.
this is my final conclusion for now.
i will still and always admire the works of Allen. i can't just suddenly turn my back on him and if i say i did,it would be a lie.
but i disagree on celebrating him at this moment where everything is controversial(like i said, even to his fans). whether it's true or not, by celebrating him and his works now at this point, there will be sexual victims (many who hasn't even spoken up about their pain) who are hurt all over again. that a possible sexual perpetrator is celebrated for his lifetime work by so-called prestigious people such as the member of the Academy Awards, would be devastating for them.
Art is powerful.
Art changes humanity.
and Art should be art as it is.
But this is what i think.
People comes first.

admire him. i will.
but don't celebrate him.
not now. not like this.

-Rep After a good game in csgo, i added him because he seemed like a cool guy. We got chatting, over the next couple of months we became good friends. Lots of banter, lots of great CS and most importantly true friendship.
He invited me to his house for a csgo lan party. So i was looking forward to meeting him in real life. When I arrived at his house, he pushed me against the wall and started nibbling my ear, i felt his hard♥♥♥♥♥♥push against my leg. I punched him and then 1 tapped him. Turns out he was gay. Don't trust this guy.
