Counter-Strike 2 brings a fresh coat of paint to the legendary franchise with updated graphics, responsive movement, and improved smoke mechanics. The Source 2 engine definitely shows its strengths in visuals and performance.

However, it's not without issues. Hit registration feels inconsistent at times, and several legacy features and maps are still missing. Some bugs and server problems also hurt the competitive experience. For longtime CS:GO players, the transition might feel rough around the edges.

That said, the core gameplay remains addictive, tactical, and rewarding. With future updates and community feedback, CS2 has the potential to become the next great chapter in the series.
