In my honest opinion one of the best MMO's still out there!
Don't let the Free to play tag discourage you, the game has lots of content to go through before you hit a subscribe barrier and a lot of character upgrades can be eventually unlocked with ingame currency.

You can now combine about any race, allegiance and class together to create your own backstory and every one of the 8 classes has it's own storyline to flesh out the gameplay while you visit numerous planets.

The combat is good, better then a lot of MMO's i've seen and the game has plenty of content for you to experience ranging from PVE, to PVP and Instances/Endgame stuff.

Free to play grants you access to the base game and a few expansions (everything but the last i believe) so there should be plenty of stuff for you to do.
