Post Persona depression hits hard

This game was worth the price of free and nothing more

It's a servicable fps with gameplay very similar to CoD.

The storyline is interesting because of the perspective of the American's fighting as the underdogs but the actual campaign interactions are super predictable, especially if you've played any CoD game.
-For example: Wow a group of choppers flying towards a battle zone? Obviously they're here to take all the RPG hits so the MC stays alive, or you know, that armored vehicle that's always in front and get's blown up as soon as combat starts to simulate that "ambush" feeling.

The game also went pretty heavy with representing the horrors of war from the fighting and civilian perspective and I mean SUPER heavy.

Unfortunately, the game still has quite a few bugs (most of them requiring a restart of the game to fix as they prevented progression) and the combat itself feels very clunky, especially if you try to use a controller.

Overall, I don't regret playing the game, but I am definitely glad I got this for free. In the end, I guess I could cough up and therefore recommend this game for maybe $5ish and then justify it by getting more achievements because for the most part, they're fairly obtainable (not speaking for the multiplayer achievements as I have not and will not touch it).

On a side note, the soundtrack and voice acting for this game was surprisingly top notch which helped enhance the campaign experience.
