Already a very good demo with an interesting story and awesome art/combat.

Combat is fun and you can probably pull of some very nice combos once you get better at switching weapons etc.
Would have loved to be able to use Aether just so I can test how it feels switching between Physis/Aether and between the weapons at the same time.

I hope there will be a divine art for dashing at some point aswell, I saw there is currently "only" Melee, Range and Guard.
Will also be interesting how it will work with switching out divine arts for the corresponding action. Like can you equip Melee art A in Physis and not in Aether or can the same art be equipped multiple times (So Aethar and Physis have the same Melee art)

It will also be very interesting to see how many arts will get added and how you get them. in the end, currently the inventory has one line (9 Slots) per divine art which would already be A LOT when they can be used multiple times.

What a masterpiece of a game.
I'm not even finished yet, and it's already one of my favorite video games of all time. The story, music, gameplay, and characters, everything is just so beautifully crafted.

The gameplay is incredibly fun, and getting good at it feels genuinely rewarding. Thanks to mechanics like parrying, dodging, and more, it always stays fresh. You're constantly learning, and that sense of growth keeps you hooked.

The story is absolutely beautiful. The prologue alone had me completely invested, it pulled me in so hard that I instantly wanted to learn more about the world and its characters.

The music complements every moment of the game perfectly. There are parts where it brought tears to my eyes, simply because it's so full of emotion and passion.

This game is something truly special.

Just finished the Story and its just an awesome game overall.

Story:
I absolutely loved the story. Its a great 3rd game and brings Peter, Miles and the side-characters nicely together.
The side quests were also fantastic, especially "A New Adventure", which stood out by a lot.
I wont say much about the story as you just have to experience it yourself.

I loved the Story, after playing Spider Man Remastered and Miles Morales now seeing both 100% in the center was great. I loved MJ, aswell as the other more "side-characters" in this one a lot. Side quests were so good aswell (Looking at you "A New Adventure"). Dont want to say that much about the story because you just gotta play it yourself.

Combat:
The combat feels smooth and engaging. Gadgets and abilities offer plenty of options to keep fights exciting. Playing as both Peter and Miles adds even more diversity since they don't share the same abilities, just the core concepts. This keeps the visuals fresh and prevents combat from feeling repetitive, which I really appreciated.

Movement:
I absolutely love the movement and map traversal in this game. The swinging speed feels perfect, especially with upgrades, and the glider is an awesome addition. Thanks to features like wind tunnels, I rarely felt the need to fast travel since traversing the map was already so fast. Throughout my entire playthrough, I only used fast travel 2–3 times.
I highly recommend turning swing assist off, as it gives swinging a more natural, satisfying feel, at least for me.

Performance:
While many players reported performance issues, I personally didn't experience much of that. The game ran smoothly on mostly high settings with some custom tweaks. I didn't use ray tracing or frame generation and maintained around 100-110 FPS. While that's not the highest, it was perfectly fine for me. I encountered a maximum of four crashes during my 24 hours of playtime—not ideal, but not terrible either.

Achivements:
Unfortunately, achievements didn't work for me. Despite having a save file with around 90% completion (90% because not NG+), I earned zero achievements. This was the most disappointing part of the game because, in my opinion, achievements are an essential part of the experience. I really hope this gets fixed soon.

Conclusion
I recommend waiting a bit before buying this game to allow for optimization updates, especially if you don't have the latest GPU. However, apart from that, I can only say this game is peak. It's an incredible experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The game feels very good to play, it not only very visually pretty but the combat system is also very good.
Side content is fun to some extend but gets very repetitive after a while.

Overall just a very nice experience and I can only hope that Ghost of Yotei will get just as good or better than this one

This game is just addicting. You just play the game, upgrade, repeat until end of time.
Its not very challenging and your basically done after 3 hours.
I really like the Music and SFX as well as the visuals of the game.
But there are a few things I dont like:

- Last few Milestones are annoying, you just sit there and go AFK until its done. Getting those 100k red and 8k blue enemies killed doesnt even get good rewards at that point in the game.

- Resources are absolutely useless because you dont have anything to spend them on. Just add some infinite upgradables and this could be solved. Those could be from base attack, HP, lightning damage, drone damage, attack size and so much more. This would also go very nicely with my next point

- Prestige not going further than 25. Just make the difficulty go up over time so you can just go up and up for more rewards until you phisically cant beat it anymore

Those are the only things I personally didnt really like.

I had an absolute blast playing the game.

Overall the difficulty was completely okey, its just a case of get good in some bosses. I absolutely loved it to get stuck on a boss because it made me experiment with other items and skill combinations and because they make it free to change its always a rewarding feeling when you change something and it starts working.

The visuals and audio are also stunning. The Chinese VAs did a beautiful job and I loved every character. I always looked forward to completing a chapter to see that end cutscene.

The only part I can actually complain about is 100%ing the game, the RNG drops are so bad, even with some item drop boosts it sometimes took an hour+ to get that single item for an achievement but other than that when you explore and just be curious about the environment you can easily complete 85-90% of the game in the first playthrough.

The length is also very nice, for my first playthrough (Going for as much achievements as possible) it took me ~55-60 hours, going for 100% afterwards only took another 4-5 hours so a total time of ~65 hours.

I will now go for NG++ and NG+++ to actually complete everything (I have all achivements but theres still something to get)

I can only recommend the game and Im looking forward to whats coming next!

Early Access Review
Now that Hades II has reached full release, my thoughts remain the same: it’s a fantastic game with a compelling story. I find myself really invested in several of the characters and the relationships you build with them, as well as uncovering more about their backgrounds as you progress.

Gameplay
The combat is still an absolute joy. Every weapon feels unique, and right now they all seem well-balanced. Naturally, I have a few favorites where good builds come together more quickly, but in general each weapon offers a fair chance to succeed.

Difficulty & Boss Fights
Boss encounters haven’t changed much since earlier versions. They’re tough at first but become more manageable as you learn patterns and strategies — very much like in most games. That progression feels rewarding rather than frustrating.

World & Visuals
The regions are stunning across the board. The Underworld areas are relatively forgiving, while the Overworld challenges you much more. That means you either need to secure strong builds quickly or rely on solid overall skill to push through.

Story
I actually quite liked the story up until the ending. I felt like the ending was extremely rushed and pulled me out of the story overall by quite a bit. Even going for the Epilogue it just didnt really click for me and I felt unsatisfied with the ending. Im still keeping an open mind and will see if maybe something comes next.

Verdict
Honestly, I still struggle to find many downsides (Except the ending). Hades II is a fun experience from start to finish. The combination of story, characters, combat, and world design makes it more than worth the purchase. Of course its not perfect but its the most fun I had with a game since Expedition 33, even though for me it wasnt that much content as I already has ~90h in EA.

Overall its Money well spent, and I highly recommend it... recommend it.... recommend it....

This game just has the biggest 2010 stickman fighting vibes that exist.
The fights itself take a really long time (For me 30 minutes+) but its a lot of fun trying to outsmart your opponent.
Its really easy to learn because you see the moves your opponent can do but its not so easy to master because you need a relatively good understanding on what your oppenent can do.
Its even more fun with friends!

10/10 Stickman Fights
