So i would absolutely recommend this game to anyone who likes devil may cry or any other fast hack and slash game. The premise may seem simple but the extreme depth of combat will take hundreds of hours to master if you aren't a DMC veteran. The story is basically fan service and i do not mind that one bit. The combat is incredibly smooth and fluid and is easily one of the best flowing games of all time in that aspect. The foundation of the game is the style meter and it encourages players to actually switch up their moves and be as stylish as possible. The 3 characters are all fairly different from each other and are all extremely fun to play. If you love the focus of a game to on combat then i would highly recommend you pick up this game.

Ok so let me edit this review after quite a while. I truly enjoyed this game. The story was pretty fun and the combat was fairly good for it being a new thing implemented in final fantasy. However, what i enjoyed the most was the large open world with the exploration and the side quests. The game looks absolutely fantastic but this came with its own issues of optimization as my gtx 1080 would struggle to run and would even crash every now and then even with the special K mod installed which is supposed to help it. This really put me off the game and stopped me from trying to max out my characters and finish the endgame (even though i did later). I do not know if the optimization has improved because re-downloading this game is going to eat through my internet faster than i can blink. However if you are able to handle this game at full power or are willing to lower the graphic settings a little bit (i hated the pixelation that would occur at lower resolutions. It was especially noticeable around the hair) then i would absolutely recommend this game as it might easily be one of the best experiences you have had

Pretty good game and u can play through it a few times but it does get repetitive. Some areas feel like u are being spammed by enemies. But the game does have some combos that u can use to effectively juggle every enemy. This paired with the stat system and the stats each weapon attributes makes the game overall enjoyable
