Experienced on the Meta Quest 3

Yes, you can play Unravel in 3D in VR using the completely FREE Geo 11 3D mod (search for it). Geo 11 works with any game that uses DX11. It renders into SBS 3D or any other type of 3D. You then need software that lets you view 3D content in VR, such as Virtual Desktop or other free alternatives.

Unravel is still one of the most beautiful games in gaming, even in 2025 almost 10 years later. It looks even better in 3D in VR. There are no issues whatsoever. However, motion controllers do not work. I used gamepad. I tested game out on Windows 11, on my RTX 3080, on the Meta Quest 3 using link cable.

I remember playing this game on Xbox One. Looks way better on PC maxed out graphics-wise in 3D in VR. I was also getting a pretty steady 90 fps. That Phyre engine was pretty good.

3D in VR Rating 9/10.

I bought this game! If you enjoyed my review, please consider joining my Steam Curator group Oculus Rift Reviews.

I got started with geo-11 based on a video my friend made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvHpRNhRwh0

There's more to running geo-11 than shown in this video, but it should be enough to get a game running at a basic level.

That's odd. This is one of the easiest mods to use. You just have to unzip and then paste in the game folder with the game executable. The hard thing is that for whatever reason, auto-convergence isn't always set to being on. You just have to edit the file with a text editor and make sure it's set to on.

I tried many times to use teh Free Geo 11 3D and never managed to get not even one game working.
Maybe I´m doing something wrong but I found no guide of how to run it properly neither. :steamsad:
