Do not go into Albion Online if you are looking for a free to play MMO. The market in this game is really unique and I'd almost recommend it if you're a person who loves to interact with mmo economics. However, you cannot compete in this game without premium and while I appreciate the three days premium they offer, they might as well offer one of those week/two week premiums if you buy a month free because of how essential it is to the gameplay. If you're looking for a frame of reference, it takes DOUBLE the time to farm for the same amount of resources as you'd get with premium. The game isn't all pay to win though, stupid people who spend absurd amounts of money still lose out to people who've thoughtfully catered their builds and understand the items. Moving on, the environments could use some work in making you want to explore them by offering incentives to go to certain provinces. They end up feeling like nameless insignificant places where you can find the same resource you can get in any other province around it and that just makes traveling through it a sludge fest. Overall decent experience if you go in with the intention to spend a little money but otherwise would not recommend.
