Great game is Great again

Took me 30 hours to finally complete a run, but absolutely some of the most fun i've had with a game in a long time. The gameplay is quite niche but right up my personal alley, as a fan of turn-based, rouge-like-based, defend-a-base-based, strategy games The Last Spell has been an absolute blast for me.

If your like me and and enjoy tactical RPG's, rouge-likes, and that arcade game in Starcaft 2 where you build a base and defend it from waves of enemies, (you know the one) then you will absolutely enjoy this game. It is of course in early access but don't let that deceive you, there is a good chunk of content to play through and a ton of replayability. The story so far is (although bare bones) surprisingly intriguing as well and i'm looking forward to seeing where it goes in the future.

However, it should be noted that the game is quite hard and i recommend going into it expecting to fail many times because you will. That is where the progression and rouge-like elements really shine so if you can bear that initial hardship you will find an incredibly satisfying sense of progression and accomplishment beyond all sense of hope.

Genuinely one of the best survival games I've played in ages, and I'm sure it will only get better with time.
