Concise Game Reviews: "Dirty Daughters: Slice of Life"
(Scroll down for the longer version)

Game Value:
❌ Not recommended for players seeking engaging gameplay or a polished experience. The game revolves around Mikasa and Ayumu, two sisters working to raise 1 million yen in 30 days to save their father. While the premise offers potential, the execution falls short. The gameplay is repetitive and uninspired, and while some artwork is appealing, the quality is inconsistent, with certain erotic scenes feeling rushed or awkwardly presented. Overpriced DLC, including additions like sprite variations where the heroines reveal their bare boobs, further diminishes the overall experience.
Mature Themes:
✔️Dubious Consent ✔️Female protagonist (two playable sisters) ✔️Oral (Blowjob, Cunnilingus) ✔️Vaginal ✔️Anal ✔️Lesbian Sex ✔️Peeing ✔️Boobs Grabbing ✔️Bukkake ✔️Deepthroat ✔️Fingering ✔️Creampie ✔️Rimjob ✔️Striptease ✔️Spanking ✔️Threesome ✔️Foursome ✔️Interracial Sex ✔️Sex Toys ✔️Masturbation ✔️Handjob
Genre Classification:
Adult Slice-of-Life with a focus on tasks and simplistic choices.
Censorship:
Uncensored, with explicit adult content.
Game Length:
Roughly 2~3 hours, with repetitive tasks and shallow gameplay.
Challenge Level:
Very low; the gameplay offers little challenge beyond monotonous clicking.
Graphics:
The graphics are inconsistent. The faces and figures of the two sisters are the most well-executed parts, but the scenes, poses, and details of the intimate areas, particularly the male parts, are poorly drawn.
Technical Stability:
The game has stability issues that disrupted gameplay, causing me to stop playing.
Replay Value:
Low. The lack of engaging gameplay and shallow choices leave little incentive to revisit. If you have acquired the Artbook DLC, you'll gain access to everything the game has to offer without having to deal with the tedious gameplay.

Detailed Review:

Key Features:
🎮 Day and Night System: The game operates on a day and night cycle, where Mikasa works during the day and Ayumu works at night.

👗 Clothing System: Features 8 unique outfits, with four available for each sister. Each outfit offers different visual changes and perks, unlocking adult scenes when worn.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Variety of Jobs: Mikasa and Ayumu can take on different jobs such as working in a bakery, café, or as a seamstress. Each job has specific requirements and offers varying pay and progression.

📦 Boobs DLC: The DLC allows the sisters' outfits to remain unbuttoned, keeping their breasts exposed throughout the game. It adds visual content but does not impact gameplay significantly.

🖼️ Recollection Room: An in-game feature where players can view unlocked CGs. Mikasa has 18 CGs (3 per job), and Ayumu has 21 CGs (3 per job). The Recollection Room can only be accessed after unlocking the scenes, and is found by interacting with the TV in the upper floor of the house.

🖌️ CGs: The game includes a variety of adult CGs, which are unlocked by completing different jobs and achieving specific outcomes. Each job offers up to three associated scenes, providing a total of 39 CGs across both characters.

🌟Overview:
"Dirty Daughters: Slice of Life" presents a story of two sisters working to raise money for their father’s treatment. The game features various activities and job opportunities for the sisters, along with different outfits and adult content to unlock. It offers a straightforward structure with clear objectives to complete within the given 30-day timeframe.

🎮Gameplay:
📖 Repetitive and Tedious Tasks: Much of the gameplay revolves around repetitive tasks like collecting flowers, drugs, or items to make money. These tasks feel like a grind, and the lack of mini-games or collectibles makes them even more tedious.

💢 Unrewarding Progression: Buying costumes for specific jobs, improving skills, or gathering items to earn money makes the progression feel slow and unrewarding. The tasks are repetitive, and the lack of meaningful engagement reduces the excitement of advancing.

💻 Skill Progression via PC and Sleep: Players can improve skills such as Charisma, Dexterity, Creativity, and Sluttiness through the PC or by sleeping. Each method allows players to earn one skill point per day, which is essential for unlocking certain jobs. The progression is instant, but since players can only gain one point per day, it makes the overall process feel slow and repetitive.

💼 Day and Night System: Mikasa works during the day, while Ayumu works at night. Players must manage their time between shifts to complete jobs and earn money, but the gameplay remains repetitive.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Variety of Jobs: Mikasa and Ayumu can take on a variety of jobs, but the tasks often feel repetitive. With each job requiring specific outfits or skills, the gameplay lacks variety and adds to the overall repetitiveness.

📖Story and Depth:
The story follows two sisters trying to raise money for their father’s treatment, but it’s undermined by repetitive gameplay and a lack of meaningful character development. The jobs and activities feel disconnected from the main plot, and the adult themes are not well integrated into a cohesive story.

🏆Verdict:
"Dirty Daughters: Slice of Life" is a letdown, failing to live up to its potential. The gameplay is dull and repetitive, the artwork is unfinished, and the DLC mechanics are frustrating, resulting in a lackluster, unpolished experience. While the adult content may appeal to some, the game’s overall quality, both technically and artistically, leaves much to be desired, especially with the added cost of the DLC.

To make matters worse, the publisher, Hentai Room, has been uncooperative. Instead of addressing my concerns, they banned me from their server without explanation. This reflects poorly on their professionalism and attitude towards the game and its community. The game had promise, but it feels incomplete, and with better handling, it could have been much more.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this game was so disappointing that I have no choice but to warn others. Save your money for other slice-of-life games like Monica’s Newlywed Life or the excellent Fleeting Iris.

Good:
👍 Potential in Character Designs: The designs show promise but aren't polished.

👍 Interesting Premise: The concept of saving their father could work, but it lacks depth.

🛠️ Areas for Improvement:
👎 Lack of Story and Depth: The motivation isn’t strong enough to sustain interest.

👎 Repetitive Gameplay: Tedious tasks with no meaningful choices.

👎 Unfinished Art and Writing: The art and writing feel rushed.

wow, I'm used to seeing this reviewer seeing the positives in a lot of games, so this must be really bad to not be recommended, period.

I was already going to wait for a bigger sale on this one since their publisher bundle is no longer complete-the-set. But hearing this I might just pass entirely. :winter2019sadyul:

I'm hoping, it really had potential! It's a great idea, but it had poor execution

Hi @Frisk,

I completely understand where you’re coming from. Repetitive and tedious gameplay is such a dealbreaker, especially when you’re hoping for something engaging. And yes, getting banned from their server without any explanation was pretty disheartening—it doesn’t reflect well on them at all.

As for the DLC, I couldn’t agree more. It really feels like it could’ve been integrated into the main game as a reward for completing certain milestones, like a special quest or post-game unlock. Having to buy it as a separate DLC just seems like an unnecessary cash grab, which is frustrating when it adds no real value to the overall experience.

It’s such a shame because this game had potential, but poor choices in gameplay design and monetization really hold it back. Hopefully, future updates—or even feedback like ours—push them to make better decisions.

Man I was looking forward to this game but repetitive and tedious gameplay is a red flag for me. And they banned you from their server without any explanation? :ccskull:

The DLC was a bit off putting as well. I see no reason why it couldn't have been a part of the game normally, maybe something you can unlock by completing the game or something you could buy in-game, maybe get it for doing a special quest, idk something! Why do you need to buy it as a DLC? :goobert:
