Game is actually excellent, but cheating is more rampant than I have ever seen in any game.

Entire squads of Chinese players not even trying to hide it. Other cheeky individuals trying to hide it, but constantly giving it away when you fake a peek on a corner and half a dozen bullets come flying at you within literal milliseconds.

I've actively seen cheaters banned in an operations game, and then run into their remaining squad who are also _blatantly_ cheating.

Matchmaking needs an immediate revamp, including region filters/locks, hours played minimums for normal mode maps or something similar.
Far too easy for the cheaters to just make new accounts and start again and then end up in your game an hour later.

It's absolute junk.

Junk is not even the right word. There is absolutely no method of disposal that I would find suitable for this game.

If the developers and every byte of data related to Atlas were put on a ship, slapped by the kraken and nuked at sea it wouldn't be enough.

Atlas aka Arklas is essentially Ark, with some new content (DLC right????)

It will never happen but everyone should just refund Atlas right now. The entire development team should be left to sit there over the holidays wondering where they went wrong and why their game is an absolute failure.

The 5,000 mostly negative reviews already in should probably cause a stir but as long as they're making money they probably don't care.

The sooner Atlas disappears the better.
Happy holidays!

Agents of Mayhem is yet another big franchise game released in 2017 on PC that is unacceptable.

It's almost as if they've primarily developed the game on consoles and afterward ported it across to PC just for the extra income.

Performance is disgusting. I am playing on a Ryzen 5 1600X overclocked to 4.0GHz with 16GB of DDR4 memory clocked at 3466MHz, I have a GTX 1080 overclocked to 2000MHz on the core and +350MHz on the memory. Agents of Mayhem was installed on my SSD.

I play on a 160Hz 27" Acer Predator monitor with G Sync enabled and the majority of the hour of gameplay I experienced was at 40-70 FPS at Ultra settings.
This is the sort of optimization console gamers find acceptable for their 60Hz, 50" TV while gaming on controllers with acceleration and aim snapping.

Speaking of acceleration, the only mouse setting available in options is mouse sensitivity. There's definitely some sort of acceleration or smoothing at play but no option to disable.

The art style is nice and the game world is seemingly pretty but it all looks the same. The world is bland and boring.

There are games made by development teams no where near the size of the team that made this, available for less than half the price, with more features and better quality content.

I am glad I use Steam as my point of purchase because I am able to refund games like this that I feel aren't worth anywhere near the asking price.

The video game market, specifically on PC, is saturated with games like this that are not worth our money and yet so many people buy and forget. This is why so many of the big game developers keep farming out pointless games like this on a yearly basis.

We should be better supporting early access games from smaller teams and sending them to the top of the Steam charts, just so the huge development companies and publishers can take a look and reinvent themselves to deliver the sort of games that we actually want, rather than the repeated reskins of games that were good to play for a few hours a decade ago but aren't worth a look today.

Refund requested!

Another typical Warhammer 40K game. Living off the name.

I'm not going to pat anyone on the back for the art style because it's 40K. It was there before the game was even thought of.
The controls are disgusting in some areas, such as the communications panel.
The environments are really cool, very unique and you can tell a lot of effort went into making them and yet they're insanely linear, they've literally stuck rooms and hallways in levels with no other purpose than to waste your time walking into them and wondering why the ♥♥♥♥ they're there.
The sounds are brilliant at times yet let down by the simplest of things such as the voice over in the tutorial. That guy sounds like he wants to be voicing that character about as much as I'd like to get shot in the head, there's literally no enthusiasm.
Optimization, literally everyone I play with moans about it, load times, FPS spikes and everything else.
I've found all of mine to be acceptable with exception to the initial launch of the game, it literally sits and loads all of the intro videos for all of the technology they've used and takes time in doing so.
I've had the game for two and a half hours. I've played for almost an hour and a half. I've had one crash to desktop in multiplayer. I'm off to play Heroes of the Storm now and may come back to this bag of death when I can find the courage.

I've managed a few hours on this game without being bored yet.

Would recommend solely because of that.

One of the only games I've ever played that still gives you that "OH SH*T" feeling.

You'll be sat in a corridor chilling beans following orders from your commander while your team runs around doing whatever they want.

You'll suddenly heard the pitter patter of something small in the vents.

You look around trying to find an appropriate vent to pre-aim at so you can blast the little creatures as soon as they appear.

You're definitely ready to bring the pain!

A ten tonne alien unicorn runs around the corner and impales you,

You now run round like a headless chicken with the rest of your team mates doing whatever you want while being sure to always make sure there's someone else in front of you who can be impaled first.

Early Access Review
Created a character. Ran around some woods for five minutes. Found a camp with a broken wood wall, jumped over some spikes and into the camp, found a crossbow and no ammo and a few crowbars. Ran away into the woods.

Went AFK to roll a cigarette. Heard some people talking through my headphones. Saw someone had just spawned close to me. Chased him with a crowbar for about two minutes over a hill and beat him to death.

He screamed non-stop for the entire duration and yelled at me. He had a Dutch accent. He died.

I crouched and tried to steal some goodies from him but he didn't have anything.

I ran to the hills for a bout five minutes, heard some more talking. An arrow hit me in the head.

I closed my game and went to bed.

I pre-ordered this expecting great things.

It's not balanced. It's not thought about. It's not updated. It's hardly played. It's pretty much dead and shouldn't even really be on the Steam store unless you like playing against A.I. that's so predicatable you constantly have a feeling of De Ja Vu

Quite a fun game. I find the loadout cards and customization a tad bit annoying but once you actually get in the game it feels right and it's fluid.

It's pretty much everything Brink wanted to be but wasn't.

Definitely worth playing for at least an hour a week!
