Read nothing going into it, read no guides while playing and I think that's a massive kudus to the games ability to drip feed content. I never felt like I was was lost, or didn't have an avenue to advance in one way or another. The difficulty was spot on, and could be made harder if desired. Story was killer, art was mad good, music was strong and the voice acting was stronger. Best game of the year and something that'll sit on my top list for a long time I think.

Tasty licks, and frantic… tricks? I don’t have a rhyme that works, but the games a blast. If you’re looking for a shoot em’ up to flow to, this is what you want.

Post launch store with predatory pricing, post launch battle pass with poor rewards, a character that can't be labbed without purchase, balance patches that have made the game actively worse. Not a solid start.
