This is absolutely positively one of the best half-life mods to ever exist, and as a game is the greatest half-life game next to HL1/HL2, surpassing the episodes, opposing forces, Blue Shift, Decay, etc.

As of writing the game is fully playable from start to finish in the public beta however the stable branch will be getting all of xen soon I imagine, irregardless now that the game is out from start to finish I can say as a whole experience that it is a worthy game and is absolutely worth 20 dollars, for $20 you will get a campaign that will last you around 10-20 hours, longer if you get the extended chapters workshop mod(s) (like On a Rail extended, Surface tension extended, etc).

Game runs extremely smooth (Radeon Rx 580 W/ 8 GB GDDR5 VRAM, intel I7 3rd gen, 8 GB RAM) on my computer with stuttering when only just loading in for about a second (and when reloading), stronger computers should have no trouble whatsoever.

This game is a masterpiece, and was worth the near-decade of waiting for it to be completed start to finish.

For all of its flaws, it's all in all a solid game!

This game has gone from a pay to win game to a pay to play game, it's gotten to the point where the only way to get anywhere in this game is to pay premium and crates. Otherwise unless you got the money back when it was easy to get it (which I did) you're going to have a very hard time doing anything at any tier.

The worst part is that I'm not even a victim of this, I'm rocking a 6 story mech with massive weaponry while everybody else has puny vehicles, I remember a time when I was the puny vehicle facing against megas and I feel terribly sorry for them.

This game is only worth it's trading cards, download the game, sell the cards, then move on.

Let me just start by saying GET THIS GAME. The trailers simply do not do this game justice. This game has the open world maps of Metro Last Light and all the augments, weapons, and complexity of Deus Ex and Metal Gear Solid. A Cult classic that is just begging for a sequel. This game was made by the same devs who made Space Hulk: Deathwing btw way back many years ago.

This game is mandatory for any steam user, a great game all around, can't wait for the sequel.
