I could write a "real" detailed review of this game but it'd literally turn into a 10 page essay you could turn in for a grade in a college course. So I'll just say this:

I played OG on vita. For 128 hours. (Really F'ed up that estimate)
I played Overdose on PS4. For nearly 300 hours, and still am doing stuff on there as we speak.
I bought this steam copy of Overdose just to play it even more all over again after I finish no-lifeing my PS4 copy.
There's a sequel coming to the west this fall that I am exceedingly hyped for.

I'm not going to lie, this is coming from a massive shill, but at least give this game a chance. Does it have flaws?
Obviously, most things do. Underneath those flaws are a god tier soundtrack, likable characters, a pretty unique battle system, and just a sort of "soul" I've yet to feel from anything else I played. I NEVER write reviews but for a game I've bought 3 times essentially, this can be my exception. I'd legit play this over persona any day of the week. I will say it's kind of funny so many people compare this to persona when stuff like Mind Zero exists though. I don't care whether you buy it full price on sale or whatever but if you're into RPGs, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do it. Might have the same effect for you as it has for me.
