I'm an over forty victim of fate. I tend to play games of strategy (eg. SMAC, Civ, Stellaris, Tropico) or train simulations (Train/Transport Fever, TS 2016). I never had twitch reflexes, even in my 20's, so I don't really enjoy shooters other than Serious Sam which is serious fun.

I have two gaming machines. My primary gaming machine is also my desktop machine and runs Kubuntu Linux. While I love Linux, I believe that an OS is a tool not a religious choice. So I also have a Windows 8.1 machine for Windows games that don't provide a good experience under WINE.
