I have tried to play this game back in 2014, but got bored for some reason on first 2 hours. In 2018, after finishing the game from second try and reading negative reviews out of curiosity, I see that some people saw same thing inside this game - somehow boring beginning and they are negative about it. Probably it's ok, but if you want to give it a try - finish the prologue.

Also there are misunderstanding with chapters inside review. Game itself have chapters and second game part (separate steam game) is called "Second Chapter", so when people telling that "it becomes better after second chapter" they are referring about current game (Prologue - Chapter 1 - Chapter 2...), not the SC which is also better in every aspect (same reviews, not me, but I do hope). Yep, naming is confusing.

And so.. I just love this game now. I love characters even if they are a little silly and have stereotypes. I like combat system and I didn't hate it at the end of gameplay like with many other games that make it frustrating. I'm ok with PSP game-design, because it's an old game. Keep this in mind, it's not an current-gen RPG, so don't expect some over-hyped mechanics inside it. The game don't need them. It's a beautiful gem.
