It's a valiant effort to bring fighting games to a wider audience.

Content cutting and shady DLC policy aside, it is a good and addicting game. Although, as a fan of EG1, I'd say that this is more like its own thing rather than a straight-up sequel. Some new features are added (world map is made exponetially better IMO), some good features are removed for some reason (you can't plan out a room without starting a build order right away is the biggest one), but it's the shift in the overall tone from Pink Panther meets James Bond movie to a more generic, British, Worms campaign-like humor that firmly cements this game as distinct enough from the original to be subjectiely separate (sort of Heroes 3, Heroes 5 situtation).

If not for the cut content I mentioned above it would be an easy recommendation, but in this case I'd wait for a sale and really consider which DLC to buy and which to pass. That being said: the game is complete in it's own right as to not need any of the other DLC.

Artsyle's good, voiceacting's mostly good (some performances are grating, but it's a matter of taste I suppose), what little music there is is also passable.

It's a careful recommendation, when the game is on sale. The core concept of the card game is simple, with only a knees-deep complexity, but very charming and, dare I say, somewhat creative. It's woefully underdeveloped though. Like most other reviews say: it's a CG delivery system, an interactive cutscene almost. Something that feels bolted on, rather than a fully fledged card game. Again, it feels almost criminal, since VN part of the game has a servicable, but very linear and simple story.

To sum things up: if it would be card game with some VN elements, not other way around - an easy recommendation. Right now, i wouldn't buy it at full price.

Early Access Review
It's a Mario Kart clone, but hentai, A very good Mario Kart clone might I add. Much better then it seems at the first glance. Even if you exclude the lewd stuff the game could stand on it's own.

A nice, suspensful adventure game. The exploration was fun until it wasn't - a lot of going back and forth in this one. Overall I would still recommend it on the basis that, even with the backtracking, it doesn't overstay it's welcome (unless you wan't to 100% it).

It's a decent Castlevania II clone, although not as robust. The only minor complaint is that the controls can be a little obtuse at times.

The erotic scenes add nothing to the game and are barely visible - outside of gallery mode they just flash on loading scenes.

Solid RPG packed with abstract meta-humour. Basically more of West of Loathing, but makes fun of lovecraftian tropes.

It's like a more accessible CK2 basically - streamlined systems, more readable UI etc. Military revamp is hit or miss, particularly knights, and mod coverage isn't there (at least yet, I hope), but overall it gets a thumbs up from me. Get in early since Paradox will probably try to bleed customers dry with DLCs as usual.

A modern classic. Not only a good W40K game but a good strategy overall.
