Initially, I hated this game. I've owned it since the beta days and found the grind to be almost unbearable. Credits came at the most measly rates and almost everything was stupidly expensive. However, I've recently gotten back into this game and realized they've made the grind far more bearable than before. There's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to this game, but once you've mastered the basics, everything else becomes more manageable.

For me personally, as an astronomy enthusiast, this game satiates that hunger to explore the galaxy and see just what is out there. While there are some noticeable things missing (like UY Scuti for example), it's still tremendous amounts of fun to explore. I love that this game doesn't hold you back to one specific role. You're free to do whatever you like and almost any avenue you choose nets you credits, be it a bounty hunter, a trader, a pirate, or an explorer. Each role has a fitting ship for it but you can use any ship to do literally anything. Speaking of which, the ship selection is decent and there's rumored to be more ships coming.

Definitely give this game a shot if you're into astronomy. You'll need to work a bit to gather the required credits for the ships and their various modules, but it'll be worth it at the end.
