I slid, I slapped, got slapped, fished and got slapped again. Jokes aside, it's a fun and cozy game to play with friends. I met a lot of friendly people on here just from hosting public lobbies. The devs are also actively patching the game and noting down suggestions from the community which is always a great sign. Great stuff team, shoutout all the penguins

This game was a pleasant surprise, enjoyed it from start to finish. Puzzles didn't feel overbearing and while the story got sad at times, it sent a simple heartfelt message. Being able to steer forlorn back in the right direction felt rewarding, it made up for the sad moments.

The game's atmosphere is really cozy and the music only adds to it. Such an adorable game, glad I found it while scrolling through the steam store. Definitely recommend, especially when it's on sale. Need more games like this to play through on the steam deck, good stuff team :)

I feel quite hungry

Base game is great, I still have to play through all the DLCs. Played the first game during the pandemic and got heavily invested into the story. The sequel definitely delivered, expanding on the story from the first while simultaneously adding new interesting storylines.

Personally wish they moved on from directional/locked combat system because I feel like it holds the game back. The removal of one of the attack directions also didn't help, all it did is limit options for combos just for the sake of simplifying combat. My only other gripe with the game is that some fetch quests can get monotonous. Though not as monotonous as some of the quests from KCD 1 (monastery quest, if you know you know).

Aside from that, favorite addition to the game has to be blacksmithing. Being able to craft and upgrade your weapons feels so rewarding. Not to mention how weirdly calming it is rhythmically hammering away while Henry starts to whistle.

The storyline is accompanied with stunning visuals, great voice acting and fun quests/side activities. All of this while being highly polished and optimized. I ran into no bugs or performance issues when playing this game on release. Which is very impressive nowadays considering a majority of newer titles either run poorly, have a multitude of bugs/issues or both.

Definitely recommend this game to anyone looking to scratch that medieval fantasy RPG itch. There's not many games like this on the market and this game definitely delivers.
