There's many off-road/rally games available on Steam, is this one any good?

+ Runs smooth on ultra settings on a below average card
+ Offers many cool cars exclusive to this game as far as I know
+ Good variety of locations and track types
+ Has enough content with all DLCs installed
+ Cars can be used universally and aren't locked to certain tracks or modes

- Outdated and blurry graphics
- Mirrors don't work in cockpit view (not a bug, it's a missing feature)
- Has only a few generic rock tracks as "soundtrack"
- Smash-Up is an incredibly annoying game mode

Gravel is fine if you can get it for cheap. I personally prefer V-Rally 4 as it has actual rally stages (not a criticism by the way that these aren't featured here) and a more demanding (and enjoyable) handling model. That game has noticeably less content though. So for most of you, Gravel would probably be a better choice. But it's not a game I would call proper good. It's just fine. It screams budget racer at every corner and I feel there was very little effort put into the handling model. This game is purely carried by licensed cars. I wish Steam offered some neutral stance for reviews instead of just two very clear options. Let's give it a thumbs up I guess...
