Its Helldivers 1, but with better Graphics and in a first/third - Person View,
so yeah it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great,
and no im by no means biased by loving the first one to death -
in fact i was very skeptical about the switch from a top down twin-stick playstyle,
but it kept the things that make helldivers great (again):
Great cooperative gameplay loop with solid difficulty to be interesting long term,
but silly enough to forgive the occasional 500kg bomb dropped on your head.
Ongoing narrative campaign, that incorporates community behaviour is a great evolution from the galactic war in the first one. Even Sony had a gueststarring as a 2 day villain, what's not to like?
Not to forget its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Meme-mine, so go buy your ticket to the nearest recruitment center,
so we democra-see each other on the battlefield, or i'll have to up right down down down you casually over a cup of liber-tea.

I'll leave the old Review down there, for clarity. It reached the turningpoint for me. Yes there is still missing stuff, and the future of the cosmetic store is still uncertain, but im fine with the direction it kept moving in the past months so i'll give it a thumbs up for now.


"It pains me to do so, but I have to leave this one a negative review as I cannot recommend it in it's current state and foreseeable future and can't vote with my money anymore, at least I can save yours for now. The monetization is predatory, gets lied about all the time and the community ridiculed and belittled about their rightfully claims surrounding it. The whole secondary systems are either not completely implemented, made out to artifically maximize player engagement times while causing huge heaps of frustration or both. Balancing is non existent yet. It's a shame as the core gameplay is solid, nailed the atmosphere and features a few improvements (the gunplay) but it's a bugfest as expected from fatshark and made some unexplicable downgrades."

Nicht das erste Monster Hunter dass ich gespielt habe, aber das einsteigerfreundlichste, so dass ich endlich meinen Lieblingsmenschen heranführen konnte und mit einer guten Portion Verbesserungen versehen, die das Spielerleben positiv beeinflussen. Es ist z.B. schön nicht mehr auf externe Wiki's angewiesen zu sein, sollte man eine Weile nicht mehr gespielt, und die Elementschwäche eines Monsters vergessen haben. Für mich kann das Addon gar nicht schnell genug kommen, zumal es sich in diese Richtung weiter entwickeln scheint.
