The game is very fun; however, it has multiple features missing and a couple of bugs. What I'd like to personally have is a way to customize keybinds.

Short form: Random FPS instability for no reason, motion sickness / sensory overload.

Long form:

After just playing the tutorial, I noticed that the game was way too loud.
Threw me into the game as well without letting me adjust said setting beforehand.

Also, just by playing the Tutorial, I got insanely motion sick, got dizzy, and had a slight headache.
Most possibly because for some reason, camera bobble for weapon hitting and similar was set to high by default...

I also noticed that my FPS sometimes drops from ~130 FPS down to ~20 FPS for absolutely no reason. While this drop was relatively short, it is enough to infuriate one.

The game is fun; however, I have noticed a lot of performance issues (for reference, my specs are well above the recommended specs), and I sometimes even lag on medium+ quality presets.
These have usually always occurred on the same operations, such as termination, exfiltration, and reclamation.

Would I recommend this game?
- Sure, but only if you own a computer that has waaay better specs than the recommended ones.


In short, the game is fun but poorly optimized, and I would only recommend it if you play on a computer with much better components than the recommended ones.

Game randomly failed on me after less than 8 hours of playtime.
That and the fact that everything is locked behind DLCs is why I am leaving a negative review for this game.

Man, this is a total joke smh...
Over 800 hours on the legacy version, and I cannot migrate my character to online.

If Rockstar doesn't fix that issue anytime soon, I'll see myself forced to throw this useless version of my PC.
Only having this version on my PC to play single-player is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

Been waiting for over a month to be able to migrate, just checked and-- nope, I cannot migrate due to the same error.
Finally threw this piece of crap off my SSD.

Actually had fun playing this a couple years ago. Decided to visit it again after some time but after reading the reviews I feel nothing but disgusted by Novalink.
Good to know which games to avoid in future, I hope this studio fails indefinitely.

Haven't touched this game in a long time; I see no reason to touch it anytime soon after having noticed all the new criticism about Arrowhead.

Either way, this game has been becoming very stale, imo.
Also, don't like the fact that most of the new content is mostly locked behind a paywall...

Don't you even dare lose for 3 seconds the internet connection because you can't join any server for the next 3 hours.

I've tried restarting the game, I've tried restarting steam, and I've tried restarting my Computer but after doing anything I could, I am still not capable of joining any server because of a host timeout error.

I'd personally recommend this game as this game still provides a lot of fun especially if you've got multiple friends in one voice call. There are a lot of funny moments in this game that you can experience with your friends. The only downside is that the AI crew sometimes breaks and stays behind until you've moved away from them which will make them follow you again. Overall funny game and if you're trying to steal (With stealth or without) you will need a lot of planning and a really good capability of strategy.

Let's start this review with the following;

In my almost 300 Hours now, my Friends and I have encountered many PVP battles with other crews and we have noticed that many players act toxic towards you, regardless of which side they belong to (Winner or Loser), they usually react in a Toxic way.
Now I can only talk from my experience but from what I have also noticed, I've encountered TWO different crews who appreciated the fair battle. Thus signaling it with a simple "GG" via Voicechat or Textchat. I've also encountered many crews who yelled or swore through Voice chat.

You could go into the "PVE"-sea, but this isn't an option if you wish to progress inside the game due to many locked features.

Would I still recommend this game?
Yes, but only if you can tolerate pubescent teenagers who have nothing on their mind but abuse features like "Reaper Hopping" and sweating their way through the server.


Fair-Warning (from personal experience);
if you see a captained ship with a Russian-sounding name, stay very far away from it unless you are up to the challenge of battling the most ruthless crews in the entire Sea of Thieves. lol
