This sucks man

I really really wanted to like this game. I loved the first one but from playing this for about an hour it just felt like a mega slog.

The characters were fun to talk to and the graphics are nice but walking around and trying to get likes is a completely tedious activity, it becomes a total pain in the ass once you do the first few jobs and then have to go on a scavenger hunt looking for QR codes.

I just don't enjoy it.

Conceptually I really want to enjoy this game.

But unfortunately I just can't the concept of a co-op horror game where you often get split apart and can communicate via a phone is a really really cool concept.

me and my partner had a blast in the early game because there was a lot to experience and ♥♥♥♥ around with we were laughing playing and having a great time.

The issues however come from just how lazy the game gets when it comes to scares.

Every single scare or creepy thing in this game is a character speeding round a corner and a loud noise playing this isnt scary it's startling and lazy.

Ontop of that the ending really sucks, you have to go through an extended chase scene with literally no guidance there are multiple paths to run down and choosing an incorrect one sends you back to the start of the chase it just feels long and frustrating.

With all of this being said I highly recommend watching the TV in the hotel room.

Chapter 5 kinda sucks.

From a gameplay perspective it's pretty great the puzzles are solid which we've come to expect from this series, the voice acting continues to be good audio etc etc etc.

The problem stems from the fact there is too many characters and I don't paticularly care about any of them anymore.

My favourite chapter was chapter 3 it felt like there was a decently sized cast with enough characters to care about and Catnap made for an interesting villain with an implied tragic backstory etc they were cool.

'Giblet' looks and talks like a rejected toy story 3 character and I just do not care about him in the slightest, I literally had the mindset the entire time of "why is he here"

Finally as is customary for this game there was a chase sequence at the end this one sucked... I let out a deep sigh when my path was blocked by a cardboard box that for some reason weighed more than the giant battery i was lugging around just moments before.

Story sucks, I have stopped caring about this plot as a whole because there is just far too many characters and I don't really care about any of them.

Gameplay is good but for the price they're asking for this it's really not worth your time.

The perfect blend of comedy, drama and trauma. An incredibly touching story mixed in perfectly with fantastic minigames.

Light up the town is a rare game that purely focus's on the player having fun and enjoying themselves while they immerse themselves in the world.

I have never played and I doubt I will ever play anything cuter or more wholesome than this incredible game.

It's fun to a point.

RV There Yet does well when you're doing creative physics puzzles to try and move an RV through tight corners, up mountains, through caves etc.

It sucks when you're trying to solve a physics puzzle and a bird is plucking you from the sky, a snake is biting you endlessly or a bear is showing up to wreck your RV.

A lot of the time failing doesnt feel like my team didn't figure out a puzzle correctly but instead a thousand NPC's have shown up to completely wreck our game.

This game is so awful that it manages to loop back around to being incredible.
