Isometric Powerwash Simulator with a bit more whimsy.

Unfortunately it's rather short, but for the same price as a movie ticket you're gonna get the same runtime. The art style is appealing and seeing the cleaning progression in literal pixels is a neat idea. Music choice is spot on and the customizable trophy room aspect is very charming.

Rating: 3.5/5. (Updates look to be inbound. May up the score when more levels are out.)

A very short and condensed story-based campaign that utilizes it's megastructure scale and atmosphere well.

The main path focuses on worldbuilding lore from the past while additional exploration rewards smaller lore on present day circumstances. FPS aspect is extremely simple. And it wears its Half-Life inspirations on it's sleeve which can be seen instantly from the main menu UI.

Straightforward sorting simulator.

Personally think it's a lot more fun when you don't use magic at all. Once you unlock max level major magic the game nearly plays itself out barring the occasional 2 button presses. The pop culture and manga references in terms of book titles is also pretty neat.

However the inclusion of GenAI and an unfortunate UE5 fatal error save wipe have soured my experience.

I usually save reviewing for after plat but i'll make an exception this time.

Beautifully executed plot that constantly subverts tropes and expectation. Content so well spaced out that hardly any area ever overstays its welcome. A battle system that feels equal parts frustrating, engaging, and incredibly fun. Unique and memorable settings for each era. Timeless original soundtrack. And a wonderfully written cast that I got genuinely choked up by when the game finished.

Favorite parts would be the music, tech system, and the endgame questlines. (Except Reptite Village for making me climb Mount Emerald 20 times.)

Rating: 5/5. (I love Crono and Marle. <3)

Finally. A game to facilitate the biblical levels of greed I possess.

Dopamine hits that rival Powerwash Sim, the freedom to customize the facility to your heart's content, a steady unlocking progression with increasing mechanics and quality of life, and being able to keep excess currency alongside discovering rare bills/containers/coins. A true gem of a simulator combined with a collectathon.

Biggest gripe is the massive FPS drop when looking towards the vault as well as it's inclusion. Its personally a giant waste of space.

Rating: 4.25/5. (Thank you for adding the cat. <3)

On one hand the atmosphere, worldbuilding, and art direction are solid but on the other hand the gameplay just isn't there.

The sluggishness of the melee combat doesn't mesh at all with how floaty the movement feels. It's like you're an ice skating ninja but you're heaving around a steel beam. Pair that with virtually zero enemy variety (yes, that includes the "bosses") and endless backtracking thanks to side content and you have yourself a very droll and repetitive experience.

It's Fallout 1 but longer and more frustrating. The random encounters alone sucked most of the joy out of my experience; on the east side of the map it's all inconveniences and on the west side of the map it's all enclave members crit one-shotting you. What happened to the whimsical and funny encounters?

Story is okay despite being weaker. Ties to the first game is a huge thumbs up. And deep exploration of any location is still fun and rewarding.

Never played a Fallout game before and went in completely blind. That being said the controls and overland travel nearly filtered me. If you can get past that then you'll be rewarded with an amazing story.

As someone who enjoys exploration and sidequest completion, being railroaded into the MSQ via timer sucks. But as someone who enjoys looting/stealing in CRPGs, being able to steal your way to the final boss is awesome.

Rating: 3.5/5. (Canon ending is brutal...)

Feels like a mix between Bladerunner 2049, Judge Dredd, and Upgrade.

Gorgeous art direction, aesthetic, and world design. Meticulously handcrafted backdrops amplified by an incredible OST. Simple Arkham-style combat with some decent gameplay upgrades further on. A straight-forward story that includes a rather forgettable cast save for Reach and Veronica. And platforming segments that make me want to slam my head against a wall.

Rating: 4/5. (Goodest boi Reach.)

You play Spiderman running from his demons as he descends into hell to find Gwen Stacy one last time.

Short and simple. The horror aspect vanishes completely if you're fast enough. It feels a lot like old Counter-Strike Hero Mod servers except I die instantly when I find myself swinging into a wall at Mach 3.
