Seemed to have started and played fine on co op at first, no issues. Then after saving the game and trying to reload on the next day the other person couldn't join. Just infinite loading and errors, even after restarting the game countless times in hopes that would fix it. Don't waste your time buying if your planning on playing co op. -To the devs, Maybe try to ensure that co op, one of the core features that comes with the game works before releasing. Even anno 1800 had issues with desync and kicking the other player out. but at least co op worked for the most part. Or better yet just stick to single player games until you figure it out.
