Started my first colony, two of my colonists fell in love and got married. All was well until one of them was bitten by a crazy rat, who was a vampire or something. They survived but the pain drove them mad and they later lost their mind and took the long walk into a cave full of what I can only assume are some sort of cave dwelling demons as they were eaten in about 5 seconds despite being armed to the teeth. This drove their spouse into a deep depression, as they moaned loudly that I didn't retrieve the body, cause it was in a cave with flesh eating demon things.... This ended up with the spouse eventually saying "F**k it" and letting loose a raider prisoner who then stabbed them to death. This left just my forager who upon returning returned from a good day of tree cutting, was promptly stabbed almost to death by said raider as raider made their escape.

As I thought all was over, a mysterious stranger in black turned up armed to the teeth. They killed the raider and kindly offered to join my little settlement. This new stranger nursed my forager back to health and all looked bright again.... until about 8 of the raiders friends turned up looking for him and promptly burned my settlement to the ground.

10/10 would play again.

Really fun and well worth a go.

Really fun game, def for all fans of the total war series.
