A fun game for civil war buffs, moderately challenging on higher difficulties. Half the game is troop movements across skirmishes and famous battles and half is army management between fights. I find myself yearning for a more open sandbox-style civil war game while playing through the static campaign again and again, although each fight is a little different every playthrough.

I like this game because it's really difficult, there's a manageable amount of things to do and decisions to make without becoming overwhelming, and each game is unique in their own way. I never played a roguelike game before this one, but it seems like a genre that i will enjoy. I also really like the music in this game.
