I gave this game a try during beta and it hooked me then and it still has its hooks in me at launch. I've played for over 30 hours at this point (not including beta) and see no reason to stop now. From fishing to crafting, farming, building, and adventuring, to name a few, Once Human has everything to offer that a modern MMO should. The story is engaging and you're set up to be the wandering hero that travels from town to down righting wrongs and defeating monsters that are easily two stories tall. I love the weapon mods and "accessories" which are the equivalent of a real world modification. There's a whole sub-game when it comes to your house and collecting what is essentially star dust that feels like tower defense. Literally, tons to do. They even have in-game radio stations to switch through as you're driving across the landscape on your free motorcycle or one of two craftable cars. Have a small group of friends you want to play with? Start a Hive. Want that bigger guild experience? Join a Warband.

You may read some hate about this game, but how long have they played? There is literally so much to do and see in this game that is FREE and yet people seem to want to bury it. Don't buy into the negativity and outrage, and don't buy this game... Cause you can't, it's free. Just try it!

Early Access Review
A very relaxing dreamy "city builder" that I play when I feel stressed or just want to chill. It has a cool hero character that you control but, so far, there hasn't been constant attacks for him to deal with so he just does some exploring for me. I really love this playing this game and hey, you should check it out if you want the city builder experience without all of the stress.

There's a great deal of grinding like any MMO but try to find a guild or bring some friends along because without anyone to chat with or talk to it gets bored and lonely quickly.

The grind isn't as bad as it used to be and there are many more quests (mostly for weapons) to take up. Seasonal events bring more quests which send you across the system killing and looting. PVP is my favorite, the diversity of maps mean I can be rank 1 one on one map only to find myself at the bottom of the barrel on the next. I admit, this is because I fall into the trap of not switching up my guns to meet the scenario but during events like Iron Banner you have little choice but to use your absolute highest grade weapons.
