Just beat the game on Hard. This game is packed with content and more depth compared to FC. The story and its world building through the amazing presentation of character's mysterious backstories unfolding made me want to keep playing to find out what happens next. A lot of the time, the game will allow you to create your own party with the restriction of mandatory party members for each chapter. Each party member offering their bits of unique personal dialogue during cutscenes. This made me curious how certain scenes would play out if I had brought a different composition.

Combat is turn based combat on a grid like FC. I found that playing on Hard was just the right difficulty for me. However, if you are not very familiar with turn based games or just interested in the story, you should just play on Normal. There is a mechanic that lower difficulty of a fight everytime you retry it which can help. You can turn this on or off.

Overall, amazing game. To make the experience even better, look into installing EVO mods. Which include updated portraits and having the games main plot fully Voice Acted. I highly recommend this game, ONLY IF YOU PLAYED THE FIRST GAME. If you enjoyed FC, SC brings a lot more to the table.
