This game is disturbing, filled to the brim with secrets and unlocks, and hard as hell. Definitely recommend. I also recommend not looking up anything, if you can help it, figuring out what items do is part of the fun.

I absolutely love this game, I don't know how many hours I've played, but I can just about guarantee they will triple by the end of September.

This is the best and most beginner friendly Monster Hunter to date. It's definitely meant to be played with a controller, but mouse and keyboard isn't too bad, especially since you can customize the keybindings.

There's a lot to learn, a lot to see, and a lot to conquer. Every monster feels as though it belongs in the area it appears in, the endemic life is a neat addition, and environmental hazards are fun to take advantage of.

I have nothing but praise for the game itself. That being said, currently the servers need a bit of work. Issues joining each other's quests and lobby's are the biggest issues, but the load times are practically non-existent so it's easily restarted, though it still shouldn't be necessary.

Also the final boss data corruption is a lie, stop spreading misinformation. The problem is a missing or corrupted codex for the following cutscene.
