I really liked this game, despite its current flaws.

The atmosphere, the graphics, the music, the enviroment are amazing and stunning, I don't know how to describe it but everything fits really well together, just walking around the game feels like an experience of its own. I also really liked the ilustrations used for the character, very cute!

The music choice is excellent for the game, I was very suprised to see sewerslvt, in a good way, of course. I definitely think the audio system needs a lot of tweaking as the "triggers" for different tracks seem to be area based, I would sometimes run into walls and that would trigger the soundtrack from other areas, and I would probably keep the more "combat" music (for example, where you enter the planetarium) not area based but more "detection" based, as in, if all enemies are dead, or they have lost track of you, return to the more calm, ambient music. Even silence in this game feels good because theres a lot of ambience around you, it makes it feel very real.
More on the audio department, some sounds *really* need to be tuned down, I've had many moments where I had to take off my headset because the sounds would be insanely loud, coming from a singular enemy that guy in the sewers in the blackmail mission There's other examples such as in gunfights, where I think it is realistic that it is this loud, but tuning it down to not f*ck my ears would be perfect.

The movement felt quite good and smooth, I do like that you can zoom around since the map is so big and it makes you feel like you can pretty much go anywhere if you experiment with the enviroment and ledges around you.

I assume the gunplay is done like this on purpose to keep it realistic, it is a bit challenging to get used to aiming, specially with something that has a silencer because it covers your iron sights, most enemies die with headshots so if you're a good shot you wont have to worry as much about ammo.

In short, I do think this game has insane potential, it needs a lot of smoothing of course, but I can tell it has a lot of love behind it, I hope I see it bloom someday.

I have been using Lovely Composer for years, both when I was starting out in music and now that I am a bit more advanced in the topic, I still use it regularly and I couldn't recommend it enough for literally anyone that wants to dip their toes in music making. It makes it so much easier and its very begginer friendly to the point you could make something that sounds good with no experience!! If you are looking for a simple, effective, and friendly program to make music or simply to learn, get Lovely Composer 100%!!

As a big fan of the first game, I was really excited to play sons of the forest, I believe I got it as soon as it came out and it was really buggy and seemed unfinished, wich I didn't mind at the moment, but coming back to it a year later it still is incredibly unpolished in many ways. The graphics are pretty good, but that's the only thing this game has going for it. The AI is very erratic and buggy, the gameplay is quite frustrating as you aren't told how anything works at all (wich I understand, since its a survival game) but a few tips on how stuff works binding wise and general advice would go a long way. The building feels bad, you are given the pieces to construct what you want, but it's extremely annoying to try to build something that is custom, and having to open the inventory and whip out the guide every time is very annoying.

Overall, I think this game could definitely be good, like its first part was. But what I feel at the moment is that this was just a cash grab trying to capitalize from the fans of the first game, so please prove me wrong, devs.

The game is very good, my experience has been co-op only so far but I'm sure that the game plays just as well alone. I was impressed at how lenghty the campaign was and how big the map was, when I initally thought it was little more than the office and the forge. My only complains would be with balancing and skills

Skills take quite long to level up, wich is fine by me as the game is lenghty and you have ways to get xp multipliers and to grind them, but they do not offer much in my opinion. I think that some of the perks offered when reaching x level should be re-worked/buffed, or adding more per level

Guns feel alright, but some are extremely underwhelming. I think the crossbow is very cool and balanced for the start of the game and it should have an upgrade for later on, maybe different type of bolts or one that hits harder. Once you get the saw gun every other weapon becomes useless. I was excited to get level 11 aiming to be able to handle the smg and the revolver but they break so easily and the ammo can only be obtained by farming soldiers. I think a trade with a merchant could be added to get ammo for other farmeable items. I would also make the character "aim" better with every level, wich i believe happens but i still find the red dot swaying slightly. An option to mount a red dot scope on your gun would be nice, that or aiming down sights because the zooming perk is useless.

On other department, the pager is a nice addition for finding your friends, but I think a pinging system would be good aswell! And maybe some type of beacon to mark spots in the map.

Don't get me wrong with this review, this game is amazing and I can tell it has lots of love put into it, but it could use some smoothing on some departments wich im sure the devs will adress in the future

Valve stopped giving a ♥♥♥♥ about this game long ago and only keeps it as a cash cow, profiting from what the community makes and adding crates to get more money without giving the community anything in return. Not to mention the empty promises of getting rid of cheatbots, base game without comunity servers is unplayable. ♥♥♥♥ you, Valve.

A ver unique game that will stick out with me for the rest of my life, Pseudoregalia had me confused at first with it's big map and many doors and places to explore, wich took a moment to get used to. After getting my hands on a couple of abilities, the game really opened up to me and its movement is inmaculate, encouraging you to get creative with the movement abilities you had unlocked until X moment to sort through its rooms and that is really cool. It's very non-linear, or atleast that's what it felt like to me, being able to get to rooms I wasn't suposed to by being creative with the tools given to me.

The music was really good! A lot of pieces in the ost evoqued a big feeling of nostalgia for me, aswell as the graphics wich fit completely with your usual retro plataformer.

The only thing I think that could be improved is in giving the player some kinda hint or nudge to tell them they are going in the right direction. Nothing too excessive, as it seems that exploration is one of the major points of the game, but a way to know where you are or how to go back to the "main" area would be nice.

I think the movement in this game would pair perfectly with combat if it was more expanded on, there's not a lot of fights or enemies in the game, wich isn't its main point, but in my opinion it would be amazing that it did go a bit more into it, allowing the player to incorporate their movement into combat, however, the final boss didn't disapoint at all!

Overall, Pseudoregalia is a short, but amazing experience that I would definitely recommend as long as you have a bit of patience to familiarize yourself with!

I don't even know where to begin! This game is amazing. The graphics, the music, the movement and the characters! It perfectly captures that retro feel and I'm so happy Steam randomly recommended it to me because its such a gem!

The gameplay is quite fun and not too challenging, perfect if you wanna chill. The run time is not long, I took around 4-5 hours to finish the game without getting all the collectibles but I hope it does get a continuation or DLC!
