Is this using emulated sounds from "chiptune game tracks" like Megaman or is it make from scratch?

Just asking because I'm thinking about using it commercially (on my future games and music projects). I know that Shovel Knight got samples from a megaman game, but you never know... I prefer if it's original sounds and the EULA is permissive for original compositions. Also, the UI seems really cool! It's probably the most obvious track editor I've seem for chiptune (I like Famistudio, but it's still really hard for me)....

Can you use this with a keyboard/piano?

Would love to know if there's support to use this software with a keyboard. I have a Yamaha myself that can connect to a computer with a cable, and while I'm not the best at playing piano, I thought it could be another way to make music with this software besides just using a mouse or other pointing device - especially if I can play something better on piano than I can recreate it with a mouse....
