Early Access Review
Does anyone want to purchase a DeLorean? It’s in good condition, low miles, only driven from time to time. Jokes aside, No Time had me hooked from the very beginning. The concept proves that time really does fly when you’re having fun.

📝 Main Pros, Cons, and Suggestions:

🟩 Pros:

+ Free mode
+ Sassy narrator
+ Car customisation
+ Towns evolve as you travel through the ages
+ Seasons and holidays depict the passage of time
+ Mini games are fun (I loved working at the burger restaurant)
+ Active developer (seriously, look at discussions & update logs)

🟥 Cons:

- Money is hard to come by
- Some may be put off by the graphics

🏷️ Suggestions:

~ Key to bring up map
~ Map, data, and stats button glow
~ Car direction indicator on compass
~ Further utilisation of the time travel mechanics
~ More varied NPC appearance, dialogue, and quests

A tribute to Back to the Future and Doctor Who

A single developer has created a unique concept, communicated with, and listened to the community while delivering new content like clockwork. I cannot, in writing, express how much I love seeing this much care and dedication being given to a project. No Time isn’t just a game, it’s an experience which will require out of the box thinking to complete.

The tutorial teaches you the controls, how the time travel mechanics work, and then throws you in the deep end. I was left thinking “what do I do, where do I go” immediately - Some may be ticked off by this approach, but I personally loved it. It’s a simple concept which is executed well, offering you the freedom to play how you want, when you want (literally).

During the opening hours of play I:
  1. Annoyed the narrator
  2. Attempted to rob a store
  3. Met my past self, in turn, killing my present self
  4. Travelled to the 1700s to show off my advanced tech
  5. Continued time travelling in an attempt to overheat & explode my car
  6. Ran out of fuel due to my shenanigans
  7. Destroyed harmless robots out of frustration
  8. Decided to work at a burger restaurant because I clearly wasn’t cut out being a time traveller

Don’t judge a game by its cover graphics

No Time provides a sandbox adventure which I urge everyone to experience. Quests are designed in such a way that out of the box thinking is required, working hand in hand with the time travel mechanic to deliver an engaging experience. The concept is unique, providing a level of creativity and freedom which is hard to find, and is executed perfectly - The experience offers a loop like no other.

Finally, apologies for all the puns throughout this review. In closing,6:30 is the best time on a clock, hands down. This may be a bad joke, but don’t hate me, I heard it second hand.

Money isnt hard to come by if you know the process with 3 time jumps to 1860 then leave your gold somewhere go to say… 2026 then go pick up you gold and sell it all then go a few months in the past and grab the gold again and so on (the developer hasnt worked in time paradox’s yet lol but its a great game)
