Early Access Review
The Midnight Walkers isn’t perfect, but it’s also nowhere near the “cash-grab” or “dead on arrival” game some reviews make it out to be.

First things first: this is clearly an Early Access title, and it plays like one. Movement can feel slow, melee combat can feel clunky at times, and balance (especially zombies vs players) still needs tuning. Those complaints are valid, and you’ll notice them within your first few matches. If you’re expecting ultra-snappy movement or perfectly tuned PvP right now, you might bounce off early.

That said, where this game absolutely succeeds is atmosphere, tension, and identity. The dark, oppressive environments genuinely feel dangerous. Looting isn’t just busywork. Every run feels risky, and extracting with gear actually matters. Zombies aren’t just background noise. They force positioning, awareness, and decision-making instead of being mindless fodder.

Yes, comparisons to Dark and Darker are unavoidable, but this isn’t a straight clone. The Midnight Walkers leans harder into PvE pressure, slower pacing, and horror vibes rather than constant PvP aggression. Once you stop trying to play it like another game and meet it on its own terms, it clicks much better.

Performance has been mostly stable for me, matchmaking has worked consistently, and the devs are actively responding to feedback and pushing updates. That matters a lot for an Early Access extraction game.

Bottom line:
If you want a fast, twitchy extraction shooter, this probably isn’t it yet.
If you enjoy slower, tense gameplay with real atmosphere, meaningful loot, and visible developer involvement, this is absolutely worth trying, especially at its current price.

There’s a solid foundation here. With balance tweaks and continued polish, this could turn into something genuinely great.

Escape From Tarkov 1.0 Review:
The Full Tarkov Lifecycle Experience

You finish work.
You look at the clock.
You realise you have one sacred hour of freedom.
Perfect time for Tarkov.

You launch Escape From Tarkov 1.0.
The BSG logo appears.
Your GPU cries for help.
You nod. Everything is normal.

You click "PMC".
You pick a map you are absolutely not ready for.
You hit "Ready".

The Queue Arc

Estimated queue time: 6 minutes.
Actual queue time: the length of a small war.

You watch numbers tick down like a glacier melting.
You question your life choices.
You accept your fate.

45 minutes later, you’re in.
Your soul re-enters your body.
Your palms instantly become a biohazard.

The Raid Begins: The Hope Phase

You spawn in.
Your framerate stabilises somewhere between “cinematic” and “emotional collapse”.

You open your first container.
Inside: a single pack of nails.
Your brain releases dopamine like you just won the lottery.
This is Tarkov. This is happiness.

You quietly creep through a building.
You think you’re alone.
You are wrong.

The Reality Check

You step outside and immediately get deleted by a giga-chad who has been playing nonstop since 2017.

A being powered entirely by caffeine and suffering.
A creature of pure muscle memory and suppressed trauma.

You never saw him.
You never heard him.
You only felt the sweet embrace of the death screen.

Post-Raid Reflection

You stare at “Killed by: ???”.
Your mind is blank.
Your inventory is empty.
Your hopes and dreams are gone.

You check the time.
Your one hour of post-work freedom is gone.

45 minutes: queue
6 minutes: looting
11 seconds: dying

A perfectly balanced Tarkov session.

Final Verdict

Escape From Tarkov 1.0 is not a game.
It is a lifestyle.
It is a controlled psychological experiment.
It is a place where hope goes to get tapped in the thorax by BP rounds.

But when it works?
When you outplay someone?
When you extract with loot that actually matters?

It is magic.
It is adrenaline.
It is pain wrapped in joy.

10/10.
Would queue 45 minutes just to die instantly again.

Great little idle game. Too short though. Only took me 6 hours to complete everything and get the end credits. Needs a end game loop.

Dungeonborne is a thrilling, fast-paced dungeon crawler that delivers a polished and responsive experience, a welcome alternative to the clunkiness of similar titles. Its beautiful graphics and engaging combat create an immersive atmosphere, drawing players into a world filled with danger and mystery. The variety of classes and abilities offer a unique experience for each playthrough, while the rewarding progression system keeps you coming back for more epic loot.

Though still in early access, the developers have shown great dedication, actively listening to feedback and frequently patching the game to improve balance and gameplay. This commitment shines through in the game's quality and its fair free-to-play model, devoid of any predatory microtransactions.

Dungeonborne isn't without its challenges, with the potential for unbalanced PvP encounters and a learning curve for newcomers. However, the developers are working on improving matchmaking and providing more casual-friendly options like the Mithril Order mode, where players can explore and farm resources without the fear of losing their precious gear.

Despite its flaws, Dungeonborne's core gameplay loop is undeniably fun. Exploring the detailed maps, fighting hordes of unique monsters, and strategizing with your team creates an exciting and fulfilling experience. The game's fast-paced action and emphasis on abilities keep you on your toes, while the promise of legendary loot and character progression provides a constant sense of purpose.

Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the genre or a newcomer looking for a thrilling dungeon-crawling adventure, Dungeonborne has something to offer. With its captivating world, smooth gameplay, and dedicated development team, this game is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking an adrenaline-pumping experience.

current state of the game is buggy, too many dsync errors, crashes, and other bugs. Also removing heroes from the game entirely even if it is to fix them is a poor move. Beta ran way smoother than this. Also I only want to play ranked. Obviously not in this state though.

Game is beautiful as expected. Sound design and atmosphere is top notch. Combat mechanics could use a little work, not much though. Game is challenging but highly satisfying. I'm playing with a 1080 TI and a i7-7700K. So far had no performance issues like others have mentioned.

Exceptional ARPG.
Negative reviews are merely expressing frustration over the server instability following the 1.0 launch. The developers are diligently working to address these issues and are commendably transparent about their progress, providing updates every 30 minutes to an hour via their Discord channel, a level of communication unparalleled in the industry. Additionally, the game's director has made a significant Reddit post detailing the challenges encountered on the first day, showcasing their commitment to transparency and problem-solving.

Very Fun game.

At about level 20 I decided to rent a server to play with my friends due to official servers being unstable. I'm now level 20 again, and still having a blast. XD

Antimatter Dimensions is a game that will blow your mind and blow up your idle game experience to the next level. It's like the cherry on top of a delicious idle game sundae. This game has everything a clicker game fan could want - satisfyingly massive numbers, exciting progression, expertly crafted pacing, and even memes and offline progress to keep you entertained.

But the best part about Antimatter Dimensions is its reset layers. These well-balanced stages will take you on a wild ride of ups and downs, but trust me, it's worth it. Every step back is just setting you up for a zillion steps forward in the next moment. It's like a rollercoaster of idle game excitement.

And if you're new to the genre, don't be intimidated by the length of the game. It may seem daunting at first, but trust me, it's worth it. The Reality update is a labor of love that adds even more quality of life improvements and fresh content to an already amazing game. As a tester, I can confidently say that this game is a must-play for any idle game enthusiast.

So go ahead, give Antimatter Dimensions a shot and see what all the hype is about. You won't be disappointed. And to all you idle game fans out there, I have one piece of advice for you: strap in, because you're about to be taken on a wild ride through the world of Antimatter Dimensions. Trust me, it's worth it.
