Never seen a game have so much passion behind it, it drives total strangers online to band together to fight against a change they didn't like.

Who you play with is what dictates if this is either;
A) The scariest survival horror game, or;
B) The silliest misadventures under the seas.

Both are good.

Disclaimer;
I played this game without a controller, and it has probably colored some of my opinions when it comes to the gameplay.

TL;DR: Flawed, but good.

Story: 9/10
Controls: 5/10
Design: 8/10

Over all a very good game, that unfortunatly has a harsh learning curve (Control Wise) and rough pacing to start. The ice breaks after you get the Flame Hallow, but before that point, the combitination of Darksouls-like combat mechanics and hack-n-slash mob numbers makes it hard to get into.

As you progress it becomes easier as you grow in power, and the game overall becomes much more enjoyable. It's a matter of getting your foot in the door.

No LOTR fan should be with out this game.
It controls like the Batman games when it comes to fighting
Sticks pretty well to the LOTR lore

Only issues with it that I have is I some times get stuck in the buildings and walls when I use the zipline, and the DLC is not exactly Bethesda quality, but the skins look nice, and the DLC missions are lots of fun.

One of the best free2plays i've ever played.
