I think this of all the cleaning games probably has the best overall cleaning mechanics, being somewhat a mix of power wash & viscera cleanup detail. Generally I think the wide spread tools and options you get all being deployable- even if really not required gives the game a much more sandboxy feel similar to viscera, but you can also choose to just, literally use 2 tools and a bucket and you can clean entire maps that way.
Has a decent story that has some mid and some high moments that I find neat.

Ultimately if there's any criticism for this game that I have its just that its janky at times, animations are eehh, physics is wonky, player movement is stable sometimes and slippery other times. But most of that I attribute to it being unity which... is unity.

if you like a sandboxy cleaning game with a lot of map detail, and don't mind a movie-level bloody mess, then you'll like this.
its got stuff for collectors and completionists too

wonderful, amazing game
Game lives up to its name, being wonderfully scenic and paced. If you like passive exploring and chatting with your buddies while doing creative but not crazy difficult puzzles this game is perfect for you.

I don't think DS2 is bad, its got great art direction and if you learn the style their going for its certainly fun.
but holy ♥♥♥♥ does it feel like the devs really really wanted you to suffer at times, there are so many traps that are barely traps, and more just felt like the devs showing what their intrusive thought was.

the only way I can really put it is it feels like this map was designed for a metroid player, because theres so many random dead ends with random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at the end of them that feel completely irrelevant, with random gimmicky 'you cant go this way' walls (like petrified people) that you are able to once you find The Wacky Item:tm:
so... ultimately I think this game will be significantly better when seamless coop releases for it.

also holy ♥♥♥♥ is this game riddled with tiny bugs that piss me off more than actually cause real problems, and its UI makes me wanna cry.

so yeah, if you don't mind some weird ass map design, and a bit of psychological damage being packed neatly with your souls-like experience then dark souls 2 is for you!

Only played four hours.
before you buy, this game is made by MMO devs, progression is going to be slow in some ways and fast in others.
It is very HEAVILY inspired by rdr2's mechanics in how you interact with people and the world and they did it half as well. Controls and ui are janky but not intolerable if you have literally any amount of patience.
Do not listen to the chuds copying and pasting reddit threads they found on google saying the game has wooden dialog and poor interactions because the npcs who actually matter feel just as good as rdr2's npcs. Its literally only the random civs that have generic repeat loop dialog.

Combat is stylish, and the game controls and plays like Shadows of Mordor with less hand-holdy stuff. Its fun.

This game is an Action exploration game, not an rpg, its much more like shadows of mordor and breath of the wild then it is like rdr2 or witcher.

You are going to experience 1/100th of this game if you put one hour into it and go 'BAD GAME!' ofc its going to feel bad with how huge it is.

yeah uh, no, buying this game is essentially buying the last 3 days of the demo + a few endings
as a concept- the devs did wonderfully with it, I enjoyed the game, however all the content is in the demo.

I do not want to pay 15$ for a couple extra days added to the demo
I got excited when I saw the achievement 'groundhog day' just to learn that its just an ending name, and I don't get to keep playing
I physically felt my stomach sink when I saw the achievement for meeting all unique npc's

So, yeah if this game is a proof of concept or is expecting a grand expansion one day? then ill update this review, but as of this moment if you want to experience the game, you will see everything the game has to offer in the demo, minus the endings which was literally just a bunch of people going 'wow you did it!' and clapping.

If the dev's are reading this, Please expand the game, I will purchase it again if you do. An endless mode with more npcs to meet would be wonderful, for example.

A short, and sweet little game about zooming around as an isopod.

On one hand, VERY GOOD GAME
Direct improvement in pretty much every aspect to borderlands 3

However, I still think the 70$ price tag is very steep for just base game, let alone in its current state. I can run the game because my Pc is a beast for gaming, but many people I know wouldn't be able to touch this game.

as of the new update, I'm switching this review to a positive one as they seem to be listening to the community and trying to optimize the game.

While the game is an 8 hour experience, its a FUN 8 hour experience that I wish had more.
My only- ONLY complaint is that the side missions were repetitive & or too small.
otherwise this game is wonderful, would recommend for people who like to play as a cracked up soldier with no chill.

Early Access Review
played for an hour, instantly I recommend it.
gameplay is reminiscent of 'The Finals' but lite, and the atmosphere almost feels like Returnal. Overall simplistic enemies but that doesn't mean they aren't fun to fight.
Only complaint thus far is the homing projectiles being too accurate.
