I just finished Akashicverse. Honestly, it does take a while to get used to its mindset, but it's not that hard after a while. Just punishing, really hard to nail a good run. Sometimes it feels more like a Dark Souls battle in terms of using the correct timing to abuse invencibility frames and such.
Just noticed you are the dude who uploaded a lot of the ZeroRanger tracks on YouTube. Thank you a lot! That game turned me into a buddhist, I still can't believe on the big impact a well written and amazingly communicated STG story can have on a mf lmao
very true, feels like you're always exploring. i've yet to play any Alicesoft games, though i do plan to play the rance series one day, now i'm even more interested.
i did play some akashicverse but it was very hard and i couldnt beat it, then forgot about it... some day i'll have to give it a try again. it was definitely very different from Hellsinker even if it's inspired by it, ironically more like a traditional danmaku.
Feels as if Alicesoft teamed up with a STG dev, and it shocks me that it is a one man game. Truly a masterpiece. In every regard possible. Every element feels in harmony.
