CS 2 and its matchmaking system is a living hell compared to CS GO. The game puts you in lobbys with a full stack enemy team with 5-9k hours on avarage.

Most matches are unfair and unbalanced, a normal matchmaking round in CS2 consists of getting completly dominated.

As a csgo player that was in the avarage rank in CS GO (MG2) you now get put into silver 4 with enemys that where well over youre original rank in CS GO (LE or beyond).

Overall I cant recommend the matchmaking at all since its a long grind for a rank on every map that is filled with hate and sweaty players. There is no chance that you have a nice experience if you try to play ranked on a casual level, you have to grind and you have to sweat every round in order to achive progress.

You will loose countless rounds in a row due to irregular matchmaking, in primier as well as the legacy matchmaking modes available.
