It may lack some of the community niceties, beloved maps (Assault, anyone?), and little features of past games, but Global Offensive delivers on the promise of a faithful, polished, and better looking Counter-Strike for whoever wants it. Even if the community doesn't meet the golden standard of 1.6 and Source, CS:GO will remain a multiplayer classic for those willing to put in the time to learn the maps and weapons. The only flaw that the game has is the community, many individuals would classify this game as a hit or miss, when I played on European servers there was a 50% chance that I would get a Russian teammate, and it isn't that I live near Russia, I am British and even I get Russian teammates, the only solution that solves the Russian teammate problem is switching regions with a VPN, a couple of weeks ago I switched to North American servers, and from then on I have got great teammate that speak English and that are decent at the game, I do not care for the 130 ping that I get, I still get a smooth experience. The cheating problem was an issue before "Trusted Launch" was added, after the update I rarely encounter cheaters, from then on I have had a great experience, I would suggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
